Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias, A Trademark All-Inclusive Resort

This was a horrible resort to visit and the worst one we have visited in Mexico. If began with the cold reception we received as we tried to check in. However, it got worse from there. When we walked into our room, we were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. It was in a dishevelled state. In our first three days there, there was a lack of hot water to take a shower or to clean the room and the front desk did not care or avoided the issue. The grounds were also unkept and you could see piles of garbage located around me resort. Also, there was iguana defaecation on the sidewalks which remained uncleaned for a number of days. The ability book à la carte restaurants was not user-friendly. There also seem to be some inconsistencies in the booking. However, our greatest concern was that somebody entered our room and used our facilities when we were not there. The security in the resort seems to be nonexistent. Again, when we reported this, those who were in charge did not want to take responsibility and avoided the issue. I would not recommend this resort for anyone who wishes to have a positive experience in Mexico.

It was clean and the staff was great!

The first day we arrived the A/C was broken and we lost our room with the ocean view. We had to move three times and only one block had an elevator. The worst is we tried to contact booking.com to discuss the fact we paired for an ocean view and got a generic view. The low ratings are more about the customer service from booking.com than the property or the service we received from the staff and property. I would definitely stay again, but not use booking.com. With all the problems we encountered the staff and property went above and beyond and any negative rating is all due to booking.com lack of response on not discussing any about the vacation we paid for.

Everything was great, welcoming, friendly environment. All the events at the event center are amazing always a good show. The buffet was great and served a variety of of foods. Will be back for sure

The snack bar needs to have more selection of foods

Having been to an all-inclusive resort for a week every winter since the early 2000s, I feel like I can speak with some authority on this… You will be dropped off at the edge of a neighborhood. Hopefully your driver will be better than ours. There’s an Oxxo store up the road, as well as a big department type store - you might want to make a note of it, because your room will only have one warm bottle of water in it, and a lot of the day you won’t be able to find anything to eat. Check in will be nice and relaxed. Maybe excruciatingly slow would be a better way to describe it. Maybe the staff were all training the day we arrived. Without any trainers present. Before opening the door to your room, close your eyes and picture Motel 6 in the 80s, and get prepared. I think they shipped in the furniture when Motel 6 upgraded in the 90s. Once you enter, be very happy if your light works. The lamps on the nightstands might even work too, if you’re really lucky. Apparently, some of the rooms are even equipped with a floor lamp! You know you’ve hit the jackpot then. Before you look at the shower, lower your expectations. Then lower them a bit more. Did you bring some flip-flops? I’d suggest wearing them in there. Yikes. The shower curtain looks like it’s been there since back when shower curtains were a thing. If you arrive in the afternoon, you’ll be waiting until after 6pm to get anything to eat. Bring food. Once the buffet opens, you and all the birds in the area will enjoy some Saran wrap covered food that you may have to uncover yourself. Underwhelming doesn’t even begin to describe the buffet. Tomorrow, if you want to fight with the wifi at 8am, you might be able to get a reservation at one of the a la carte places. I wish you luck. Otherwise, line up with 50 other people at 7:30am. There are pools. And lounge chairs. If you want one, you’ll have to get up at 6am and go get one. They don’t skim the pools during the day.. ‘nuff said. The beach is nice. The sand is fine. If you like to run on the beach, take a week off. The angle down to the water is pretty steep. On the way back up to the resort, you can try your best to wash your feet at the shower station. One of them almost works! In short, if you pay more than $900/wk per person, Wyndham is seriously ripping you off. A few days in, and I was envying the people heading to the airport to go home.

Great all inclusive on a lovely beach walking distance to Bucerias.

Alcoholic drinks were too sweet and very little alcohol in them . Beer and wine was good though .

El alojamiento tiene muchas restricciones en los horarios, son instalaciones viejas y descuidadas. Ofrece cenas en restaurantes de especialidades pero es imposible acudir a ellos porque es con una reserva muy restringida y complicada para la cantidad de huéspedes. La regla es que reserves 24 horas antes a las 8 am a través de una aplicación o una fila. Los bufetes no varían los alimentos.
