Pricey…couldn’t watch tv in bed

A cowboy bellman made the trip very special. His name is Luke and he helped me with my truck. I had left something charging in the cigarette lighter adapter for several days and forgot about it. This drained my battery and Luke took it upon himself to track downa charging unit and get my vehicle started again. This type of initiative is exactly what you need in your staff. Going above and beyond. Thanks Luke.

The bed on the studio was not comfortable. They really need to upgrade mattresses. I had a Murphy bed and a hybrid coil and memory foam matress. Slept like a dream. These mattresses were not that. Only complaint. Everything else was exceptional.

What a magical few days at this slope side ski ski hotel at big sky. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the ski valets to the concierge. Our suite was spacious and well appointed. Easy walk to lots of dining options. We particularly loves the sauna and heated pool apre ski. Highly recommend. Well worth the price

We stayed here for a week recently. The good things are it is slopeside (we were here to ski) and everyone at the hotel is friendly and tries to help. We tried the couple restaurants and liked them both especially Carabiners. Great bartenders and good vibe all around. I believe the hotel was renovated in the past few years and the style is modern and nice. What we didn't like were the way the rooms are built. We had a studio and on either side wall there was a door that you can use to combine rooms. This is quite normal at these kinds of hotels and not something we thought anything about. However, we immediately noticed that you could hear the other guests quite clearly from our room. Anything above a whisper you could here. We clearly heard entire conversations our entire stay. I investigated the doors a bit more closely and there was no soundproofing or anything applied to the door. In fact it was just a basic bedroom door with even a gap at the bottom so sound clearly transmits easily. I would hope they would have a better sound proofing installed at this point, but it is by far the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed out. The main room door also had a gap at the bottom which easily transmits sounds from the hallway, but fortunately noise from the hallway was not an issue as there wasn't a lot of movement in the hallways. This is the only hotel I can think of that I've seen rooms not fully sealed out for sound like this so to us it was very odd.

We checked into the Summit and went right to the concierge for info. Eileen was very helpful and patient with all our questions. We stayed in a studio suite . Nicely decorated and had a nice little kitchen. We like to bring our own groceries to save a bit of money. Resorts are a bit overpriced as we all know. Be aware that these suites have a Murphy bed (pull out of wall) Ours was a queen. It was not as uncomfortable as we thought it would be. But next time we'll seek out a king bed. The tv setup is odd as it was positioned over the bed area. Maybe they need to rethink that and put the Tv in the opposite corner so you can see it from the sofa and the bed. Just a thought. We did visit some of the restaurants. Decent food. Wait staff very nice. Montana Jacks had great portions for the money. We rented equipment from the resort. Fitting went smoothly. Although the employees spoke little English which made communicating issues hard. I participated in the half day group ski school. My instructor Chris was good at explaining things and had a lot of patience. Even when I took a tumble. He was right there. The mountain is stunning and has so many trail choices from beginner to extreme. If you want everything pretty much out the front door and views too die for then this is the resort for you. Be prepared to pay though.

The food was way overpriced and not very good. The room temp could not be controlled.

I tried to cancel reservations a week before my check in and even with travel insurance they refused to let me. They charged me and I didn’t even get a chance to stay even 1 night there.
