Summit Hotel at Big Sky Resort

This hotel is a TRUE ski in ski out. Many hotels falsely advertise this. But not The Summit. You walk right onto the snow in the morning and ski right up to the patio in the afternoon. The location cannot be beat. The ski Valet guys are so friendly and ready to help you. Probably the friendliest staff I have ever come across. ONLY strange thing is they only keep your skis overnight, not your boots. So in the morning you need to put your boots on in your room, take the elevator down, walk though the lobby to the outdoor ski valet. I've never stayed at a ski in ski out that doesn't keep your boots. For over $900 a night, I was very surprised by this. Would love to see this change, or at least add boot warmers in the rooms. The rooms are gorgeous, beds super comfortable. Turn down service at night is a nice touch. The Spa/Jacuzzi area is phenomenal. Massive jacuzzi, servers pop over every once in a while to take drink orders. Co-ed sauna is nice, however parents allowing their kids to play in there unattended really became disruptive and I saw lots of ticked off guests. I would love to see the sauna be for adults only. Carabiner Bar is very slow but also super busy for Apre so understandable. We ended up at the Umbrella bar at the base or Scizzorbills to save time and $$. Peaks restaurant was lovely. Surprised the reviews were not great. Waiter was awesome, and food was wonderful. The car service is a great additional luxury.. If you need to go to dinner in town, they can take you and pick you up. The drivers are so friendly. Highly recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay at the Summit Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and trained very well in hospitality. The spa with sauna, water circuit and hot tub was wonderful after a long day of skiing. The Exchange building next door was great for lunches. We did wish the Exchange food options stayed opened for the dinner hours, however, since we rented a car we were able to go off campus for dinners.

Didn’t tidy are room the first day. No big deal since it was only one day. The next day though they showed up at 4pm. Which I believe is way too late. We were getting ready for dinner so told them to come back tomorrow and before noon. They didn’t come until 2-3 pm. So for entirely 5 day trip are room was tidied up once.

Easy access to slopes and dining and loved the service.

We love hot tub and sauna in the hotel.. Also skiing in and out hotel is absolutely amazing!

Very loud guests in room next door- loud all night and early in the morning

this will be my seventh stay at the Summit, always comfortable accommodations, quick access to the slopes and top notch service !
