"Nice hotel if want a home feeling"

We travel to St Pete Beach Florida at least twice a year(birthdays and anniversary).This was for my 45th birthday weekend of Fathers Day traveled with my husband. We booked this trip 3weeks before leaving . Our first time staying at Gulf Strand Condo Resort.... It was ok not as updated as other hotel we had stayed in the past along Gulf Blvd.Chose it this time because was closer to Publix grocery store and Crabby's Bills since we never rent a car because everything is in a decent walking distance .The items in rooms seem like was donated like Tv's were older models NOT Flat screens..lol....older looking furniture etc.One plus was had stackable washer/dryer!!!!Was able to wash clothes and not carry dirty/sandy clothes all the way back home....and also full Kitchen .. If you want to cook.....

"Gulf Strand Resort, St. Pete's Beach, Fl"

Upon arrival Sunday evening to Wednesday morning we had a broken refrigerator. The TV was broken. The room was infested with ants. Bed linens were soiled. The manager, [...], was rude and uncaring, never apologized for these issues. We left 2 days early. As we were leaving the new refrigerator was delivered. The ant problem was still there.

"Not a great view like the pictures suggest"

We got to the room, which was the farthest away from the beach we could get. The view had more of a view of the road, shops, and parking lot than the beach. The pictures on the website are mainly from the beach front condos. In addition, the fridge and freezer didn't work and it was the weekend so no one ever fixed it. But the property was right on the beach, had a nice pool, beach toys for the kids, and the room was comfortable.

"not as it seems"

The photos shown are front gulf front condos, not gulf view condos. At check in we were informed that the gulf front condos were not actually available at the "'rack rate". Also, beware there is an extra "resort fee" per day that is due at check-in. The bedroom had 2 twin beds put together instead of a queen bed. Small pool.

"Great Place To Stay"

Felt like home after walking in the door. Very clean, and comfortable. I would recommend this property to friends and family. Great space, more than enough room. Great view and location!
