Eagle Mountain House and Golf Club

It’s a beautiful old inn, Classic Mountain Inn feel. Tavern and dining on site makes for a relaxing time once you’re there.

It’s been mostly updated but needs still needs some work in some areas.

This historic hotel is great location for quiet retreat with services. Rooms are in good shape considering age and architecture. Restaurant has been upgraded and food is good Bar is lively and well tended.

Max at the bar is the best. Coffee all the time was great.

The Eagle Mountain House in Jackson is a Gorgeous Historical Inn. We have stayed a few times in the past. This past August 2025...we stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking their New Pool....it's was a Magical weekend! I asked for the third floor again, same room...was told Under Maintenence. I said, "that I want 3rd floor end room so maybe across from the other room". That room was booked. They looked in their system....they put me in room...308. I called the day before to confirm...the man said..."YES, you are all set...see you tomorrow ...and you will be in Room 308". I WAS HAPPY! NOW....we are driving 3 hours on a Friday night....we arrive...I walk in..say to the Woman at the Front desk..."we are finally here...checking in Room 308". She then says "NO, Rm.202.." "I am, confused" so I said.."I booked, and confirmed yesterday We would be in Room 308"....she then replied..."You , can stay in that Room , but it has NO HEAT"!!! She was ABRUPT AND RUDE! PLEASE BE COURTEOUS to your Clients that ask for a Specific Room....CALL THEM, SEND THEM AN EMAIL, A TEXT....EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM OR SITUATION!!!! I HATED that surprise after such a long drive!!! It caught me off guard! YOU (the Front Desk staff) are in the HOSPITALITY SERVICE INDUSTRY.... So, go a bit out of your way, find out who are in the rooms with NO HEAT...and let them know before arriving! Now, we were given Rm 202....which is at the end of the hallway room overlooking the back of the Inn which was fine! VERY CLEAN....SHUT OUT TO BRITTANY!!!! GREAT JOB making the Room look TERRIFIC!! We LOVED having the 2 separate rooms...with 2 LARGE SCREEN TV's ! VERY COMFORTABLE QUEEN size bed.... AWESOME water pressure in shower! (After skiing you have to wash your helmet hair ....love great water pressure) EAGLE MOUNTAIN HOUSE in Jackson is a MAGICAL PLACE TO STAY AT!!!! (The Reason for NOT GIVING 5 STARS was the fact they didn't reach out to us regarding the Room switch!) Please COMMUNICATE to your Vacationers....People deserve that! On a HAPPIER NOTE....THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS WON!!! GO PATS!
