Sissinghurst Castle Farmhouse

Beautiful period building, great staff, wonderful breakfast.

The breakfast was fantastic and the afternoon tea in the sitting room. The staff were extremely pleasant.

Curtains let in a lot of light so woke early.

I felt like royalty!

Everything! The rooms, breakfast, location to the gardens, packed picnic and evening sharing platters are all exceptional as are the gardens around the building Everyone enjoyed the stay

it wasn't like that

Our stay at the Sissinghurst Castle farmhouse was wonderful. Our room, with a view of the castle, and our bed, were very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with the best sausages, eggs and sourdough toast we've had in our years of UK travel. Our meal, freshly prepared, began with a pot of freshly brewed coffee. Tea and homemade scones and cake were available in the afternoon and could be enjoyed in the sitting room, on the terrace or in the shade on the sprawling lawn. All around a very delightful stay.

Absolutely amazing. I cannot find fault at all. It really is 5 stars. Anna is lovely and helpful. The cake and scone was a lovely treat after a day at chapel down. The room we stayed in was spotless and the bed so comfy. I highly recommend and hopefully can return! I loved that there was plenty of tea bags in our room and we didn’t have to ask for extra !
