Lovely staff. Loved the complimentary afternoon tea and cake. Lovely breakfast.

Although this was a nice property, was not worth the high price as room very small, bathroom cramped, and only one bath towel between two. Very overpriced!!

The location itself is beautiful. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean! Breakfast choice was excellent as was the quality of the produce. The honesty bar was a lovely touch too. The grounds are spectacular.

The only thing I would have liked is a fridge in the room but this is a very minor personal preference and in no way hindered my stay.

Its a beautiful house, with a great location. Breakfast was good, the rooms and views lovely.Staff helpful.

Its overpriced. Its a lovely location and room, and has a monopoly.. but there is no dinner service, the honesty bar, with prices of around £10.00 a drink is too much,..and coming in after dinner from the( distinctly average) restaurant that they recommend to us found the only place we could sit, with our overpirced drinks, was the lounge, which is so small we were all part of each others conversations.

The afternoon tea was outstanding. The location next to the castle was perfect. It was a lovely relaxing place to stay.

I was disappointed when I informed the hostess that we had to leave early on our last day and asked if it was possible to have a small takeaway breakfast, however she said it wasn't possible and I could buy something on the way. Also the internet was very poor. We were informed that they were looking at installing Starlink.
