River Valley Motor Inn

This motel was just your basic. It only had one chair in the room which meant one person had to sit on the bed to watch TV. You couldn't turn the TV and there wasn't any TV listing. The room was clean though.

As always super great value and comfortable rooms! Staff is very friendly and concerned with your visit 👍 Conveniently located for all kinds of day trips around La Grange👏 Local restaurants are within a short drive and a plethora of variety is available.

We stayed at this hotel during a visit to Round Top. The place was easy to find, right off a highway, and just outside of town. The guys at the front desk were very helpful in recommending places to visit and in particular eat. If these Marylanders get back to Round Top we'd stay here again. Nothing about the place is new but it is clean and neat and priced reasonably for Round Top.

Broke down just south of La Grange, TX. Got the truck towed in to a repair shop. Phoned round for a hotel room for the night, but it seems La Grange holds a 3 week long antique fair at the end of March and just about all the hotels were fully booked. We got hold of the River Valley Motor Inn and they said they could have a room for $109 plus taxes. The room was spacious and basically clean. This is not a 5-star property, but, it provides straight forward accommodation for a reasonable price. Staff were polite and helpful. Would stay here again.

It was a perfectly nice room, clean and plenty big. The staff was very friendly and the room was a reasonable price. It's a great place to stay, close to a couple of good restaurants and easy access in and out.
