"Will not accommodate reservation changes"

Booked through a 3rd party and needed reservation changes for an additional party 24 hrs out. Corporate and local management pointed the finger at 3rd party booking, 3rd party booking pointed the finger at local Westgate and corporate. Even though rooms were available, Westgate refused to accommodate. The manager, Tony, was indignant and hung up on me.
