My mom Liliya and I had the most wonderful stay at Hatchet Resort! From the moment we checked in, everything felt warm and welcoming. The cabin-style rooms were spotless, charming, and gave us the true mountain lodge experience we were hoping for. A huge thank you to Manager Pat — he made our stay extra special. Pat was incredibly kind, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. He gave us great tips for exploring the area and went above and beyond to make sure my mom and I felt comfortable and cared for. The location is perfect for families — peaceful, safe, and close to the beauty of Grand Teton. We loved the on-site restaurant, the cozy outdoor spaces, and the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. I highly recommend Hatchet Resort, especially for families. With Pat managing, you don’t just feel like a guest — you feel like part of the family. My mom and I left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return!

Very Clean and Rustic!

The room was nice and clean. The food was good as well.

This little resort has charm, but it doesn’t offer the most comfy bed and no air conditioning if you’re used to it. Their cleaning staff was very thorough and made beds, emptied cans and replaced towels every single day. The owners should look at their rooms through the eyes of their patrons and determine niceties they could offer that wouldn’t break the bank. Better towels, updated linens, etc. One of the mattresses was in very poor shape.

The location is perfect between Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The cabins are sweet, beautiful and quiet. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is good. There's even a gas station which is convenient if you're heading to Yellowstone without a full tank.

There could have been more games, activities or just space for the kids, but that day there was a private event taking the best place.

We had an excellent stay in a 2-bed room at Hatchet. The beds and room were cozy and comfortable, the property was very nice, and the breakfast restaurant was excellent for our pre-park adventures.
