We stayed here for three weeks and loved it! Things started off great … our bus arrived in Sucre very early so we arrived at the hostal very early. Our room was ready and we were allowed to check in! And things kept getting better…we found the staff to be friendly, the hostal to be ideally located (1.5 blocks from the main square), the bathroom well supply (soap, shampoo, bath mat, and in addition to bath towels, hand towels!). The room was equally we appointed (a wardrobe we drawers for clothes, a bedside table for each bed, ample outlets to plug in electronics). In four months of traveling in South America this was the first accommodation that had all these things…it made our stay very comfortable. The hostal was very clean. Cittadella was not a party hostal, which was great for us. In addition I took Spanish classes from the school at the hostal …. It was a great place to learn Spanish!
USThe staff was excellent, willing to help and provide information. I met the owner, and he was a fine gentleman who guided me to see the best highlights of the city. Susana, and Moises were fantastic! The room was very comfy and spacious. The restaurant on site was very convenient. The location was perfect! Walking distance to main attractions in the city. They have a terrace with a beautiful view of Sucre on the rooftop.
