The coffee shop right next door is a bonus.

I wasn’t really sure how to navigate the television options.

This is not some upscale right off the beach hotel, it is very low-key. The gentleman that checked us in was nice, we got there early and I asked about possibly leaving our bags in the lobby which they leave locked but our room ended up being ready so he let us check in a little early which I was extremely grateful for. No there is not an elevator, and there are 3 floors, I think, I got confused cuz all the rooms start with 1 so the floors started kind of blending into each other... We didn't care about the stairs though it was quick and we needed the exercise but yeah if you're unable to climb stairs do not stay here. I can definitely see where the sound might be an issue for some of the rooms but we stayed in room 130 which is at the top and it was perfect. We didn't hear people in other rooms, we didn't hear traffic or the Muni. We had a small view of the ocean. The room was huge, way bigger than I expected for the price. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable and I didn't even need my sound machine cuz the fan stayed on consistently. We always come in on the ferry so it was nice that the Muni train was right there and it went straight to our hotel, like literally it stops right in front of the hotel. This made the weekend so much easier for us. There are also quite a few shops and restaurants including a coffee shop right next door. We walked to an Irish pub to watch football and walked back to the hotel when it was dark. We took the bus to Riptides to listen to live music and then ended up walking back along the Great Highway with a slice of pizza. Never felt unsafe. This seems to be a really good area and we will definitely stay here again especially for the price. I almost didn't want to leave a review cuz I don't want them to up their prices or always be full but I wanted them to know we had a really good stay.

Honestly I'm sitting here trying to think of anything negative and really can't think of anything. We're not bougie, We don't need a bunch of amenities. We don't even need breakfast cuz we always like trying new places. We don't need parking although they did have a small parking garage but it never seemed full so looks like plenty of spots. If you just need a cute, quiet getaway that's close to the beach and transportation, and don't need much else, this place is perfect.

We loved the location of this hotel. The beach being a minutes walk was absolutely amazing. We were also two blocks from the Golden Gate Park!

Lodging in San Francisco can be tricky and expensive. I booked this at a very reasonable price. The room is much larger than I expected. It looks recently remodeled, and the craftsmanship of the remodel was excellent actually. The coffee in the room was decent. I looked online to see where there was a good coffee shop. There is one immediately next-door. And that was great! Then I walked across the street to the beach!

When I’m at home, I sleep with the fan on. It was a chilly night and so I had the heater on which made a fan like noise which was fine for me, but some people may not like it.

Very clean room, great stay, and conveniently located near the beach and nearby restaurants.

It was comfy and conveniently located!

The accommodations were very loud/echoey. The thing walls and large heavy door made it hard to sleep.
