Lamie's Inn and The Old Salt Restaurant

Wanted something with character, but this place is very tired. And very overpriced. Liked the real keys but once inside the rooms the linens were discolored and old. The towels were very nice but the bathroom is very small, which would have been fine for a lower price. The continental breakfast baked items did not seem fresh, coffee was not great…. I would not recommend this property. The check in staff was the only redeeming feature and they added the character!!

One of my best vacations to date! The room was nice, the bed was comfy and everything was incredibly clean! The mattresses had covers and basic toiletries were provided. Staff was very friendly and noise was at a minimum all night! I'll leave my comments about Old Salt for a different review, but I will say here the food was delicious, our service was quick and we WILL be going there to stay again!

Wonderful staff. Delightful old property. Excellent dinner - baked haddock cooked to perfection.

Old fashioned hospitality

Let’s just say it was strange. Front checking in and he told some weird thing about the key to my door because they don’t have electronic keys. I get it. Love that. But the guy made it like I was going to die in my room. I had a weird feeling immediately entering the building and I’m an empath but don’t feel like that usually. The place is goods bumps on crack

We stayed at Lamie's Inn on our road trip through New England. We got a warm welcome on arrival and the rooms were very comfortable. The room furniture & decor fits the image of the hotel, so they were not ultra-modern but very clean and reasonably spacious compared to many of the places that we'd stayed. We ate at the Old Salt Restaurant, which is within the hotel, and the food was so plentiful several of our group couldn't finish their meals. A continental breakfast was served in the cosy bar area with fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts and a selection of home-made pastries/cakes, which I was told were baked fresh and change daily Needless to say we were very happy with our stay.

Amazing inn with great staff. Exactly the experience we were hoping for. We'll absolutely stay there again.

Lovely old inn. The staff is amazing; kind and professional and happy. Room was lovely. Only issue is that the bathroom is extremely small. Not great for older people like me. With that said, I still would stay there again. Also, their restaurant, The Okd Salt, has great food.

Beautiful, nostalgic property. Love the old displays of pictures, furniture, and the employees were very knowledgeable about the property history. Restaurant food and service were excellent. We will definitely be returning.
