Loved staying at James Bay Inn,everyone so very friendly and helpful. Lovely quaint room ,Edwardian house is beautiful. Has cafe and a really decent pub on premises. A ten minute stroll to harbour.

When we arrived we immediately felt so welcome, thanks to the amazing staff at the reception. Always down for a talk and a joke (or two). The location is also great - the Inn is located in a very quiet, green residential neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from downtown. There’s also a supermarket nearby. Room was comfortable and you could hear the horse carriages outside. Oh and we loved the complimentary coffee and water in the lobby! We absolutely loved our stay.

Our room was the smallest which might not be comfortable for some people, but for us it was totally fine.

"Fantastic stay"

Friendly and accommodating staff. Just on the edge of downtown so no noise but easy to get to the hustle and bustle. Super convenient having a pub and restaurant on site with great staff and huge portions.

Slight smell on 2nd floor, maybe bleach, likely the bathroom. Best to keep the door closed and well ventilated.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt. Die schöne alte Einrichtung hat uns gut gefallen und wir fanden es total gemütlich. Die Betten waren toll und es war alles super sauber. Auch die Lage hätte nicht besser sein können. Man konnte alles gut zu Fuß erreichen.
