Sun Viking Lodge - Daytona Beach

My room was huge beautiful oceanfront view. Loved the indoor pool with the waterfall. It was nice and cool. Also, they did do movie night for the kids at the indoor pool, which was nice. There is parts of the hotel that could use some TLC but it’s understandable, Perfect place for families We loved our stay.

Property lacks any and all updates, this has nothing to do with the hurricanes of last year this has to do with the disregard of general maintenance on the property from safety rails not being secured

The slide was gone and the game room Xbox and play Station games were not there like before.

What happens is that you made a reservation, and for health reasons, you need to cancel, but it's unsuccessful. So, you try to at least change your details, but get no response. Maybe the hotel is good, but the customer service is simply awful.

Uhh i really wish i could show the pictures of the room when we got there.... the floors were disgusting me and my husband had to clean the entire floor. Went to the front desk because the room was dirty but also the lock to the balcony did not work. They didnt seem to care about the dirty room and just said maid already left for the day but maintenance was great and fixed the door right away. We are no strangers to cleaning so it was whatever we just cleaned it and enjoyed our stay. We had a great time and we stayed for 4 days. Never saw house keeping or anyone. Well i guess because the floor wasnt cleaned when we checked out

BED BUGS BED BUGS SAVE MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ABSOLUTELY DO not recommend this hotel. I’ve been coming to Daytona Beach for years, and I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully or dishonestly. I paid in advance for my stay, including a cash deposit, like most hotels require. Not only did I use the room and leave it in good condition, I went above and beyond to clean up issues that were already there — including mold, food under the bed, and later discovering bed bugs. As a healthcare worker, I kept quiet and just did what I had to do. But when I checked out, Sun Viking Inn refused to return my deposit, and even worse — they tried to claim I didn’t pay anything ahead of time at all. That is completely false. I have my receipt clearly showing a negative balance, and I also have TikTok Live videos filmed during my check-in and payment that prove I paid. This is not just poor hospitality — this is theft and a complete lack of integrity. For a business that people trust with their money and safety, this is completely unacceptable. They will rob you blind, blame you for it, and lie to your face. Avoid this place at all costs.
