Wayside Inn

The room was big and comfortable. I enjoyed the fireplace and spa tub. The amenities were very nice. The location was perfect - in town, but still quiet.

Ideal location, welcoming staff, generous room size, convenient parking and comfortable beds. We’ve been traveling for the last month staying in hotels in Canada and the east coast. Some were national chains with the name starting in H. We wouldn’t return to any of them. When we checked-in at The Wayside, we knew we had found someplace special. The owners genuinely care about your experience and you can feel it. They even provided take-away Thermos bottles to limit the use of throw away plastic.

Very loud fan outside the bedroom window and also street noise. Other rooms further away from 7th Ave might be better. Avoid room #6. Close to many restaurants but no view.

Wayside Inn is our go to place. We like the rooms best with the fireplace and balcony or patio rooms, but we have stayed in the other rooms without the outdoor feature. The location can't be beat. It is a healthy walk to the beach or a leisurely stroll shopping and or sampling wines. The great restaurants are abundant. So park your car for your stay and venture out in this beautiful community.

Hermoso hotel. El staff super amigable y las habitaciones increíbles. Las camas super cómodas y la habitación tenía una cocina muy equipada con todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar. La habitación incluso tenía nuestro propio hogar, que prendimos porque hacía un poco de frío. Excelente lugar para quedarse. Seguro volveremos.
