Liked the premium room. Everyone very friendly!

Very comfortable

Nothing loved it

The property advertises kitchens, however, it does not provide the necessary tools to actually cook. In addition, the property was not kept clean, trash that missed the trash can was left on the ground for days, the furniture was old, the iron had a black film on it so when used all of that black got on my pants. Front office staff was always kind. We would not stay at the Inn again.

Very cute inn right by the downtown area. Easy to walk to and from shops and restaurants. Very quiet area and very high standards with cleanliness. I would stay here again.

Really enjoy how close the hotel is walking distance to everything and how clean the hotel is . Jacuzzi tub was almost definitely a plus . Would book again :)

We had a great family trip to Carmel and stayed at the Wayside Inn. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was really useful for DIY meals to avoiding eating out constantly (not cheap in Carmel...). The location is unbeatable--very easy access to shops and about a 15-minute walk to the beach by Ocean Ave. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Carmel!

The Wayside Inn was a really wonderful stay for our family. The location in the heart of Carmel really can't be beat, very close to the shops and about a 15 minute walk to the beach on Ocean Ave. Our King suite was spacious and comfortable. The bed was really comfy, and the kitchen was very useful for having some DIY meals in the room as opposed to eating out every meal.

Not much. Parking in the lots is not guaranteed, but we didn't have any significant issues.

Good location and nice setup

Parking a challenge for large vehicles and one room had a very strong, musty/old odour that seemed set into the carpet/furniture.
