I recently had a horrible experience at this motel in Livingston, MT. I had just returned from 5 weeks in Central America and this was far worse than any experience I had there. The biggest problem is the management, or lack of management. There is almost never anyone in the office. The manager is rude, even hostile to both the guests and her employees. The facility is run-down, the heater and refrigerator were running so loud it was hard to sleep. If there is any issue, the manager blames the customer and never apologizes or seems to care at all about the inconvenience to the customer. I felt like I was an inconvenience to the front desk to even try to check in. They don't say hello or anything decent. Hospitality is foreign to them. The place is run down. I know it is a budget accommodation, but this kind of treatment became something close to abusive to the guests and other employees. The room was clean. The maintenance person and room cleaners were somewhat helpful and kind. I had stayed in this facility in the past due to the convenient location and had just overlooked problems in the rooms. This time, the rude and hostile manager had me packing up in a rush to just leave the facility. They said they would charge me for another night if I ran 15 min. over my check-out time when I decided to get out of the nightmare. The front desk number put me in touch with somebody in the Philippines! He managed to insure that I wouldn't be charge for another night of abusive treatment at this place. A little human decency from the management would have made a world of difference.

It’s clean

My room had a strange smell and the door looked like it had broken into. I checked out as scheduled but something came up and I needed to stay another night so I returned to get a room for one more night. No one was at the front desk. I rang the bell a couple of times but no one came. I called the phone number that was on the desk to get help no one answered. There was a lady on the phone in the coffee room but she ignored me. I left and went across the street to ECONO Lodge

Great clean rooms with outside entrance doors. Staff very nice and helpful. Even has restaurant.
