Auberge Saint-Antoine

This is a wonderful hotel and if you can get a room - do it! Everything about the hotel is welcoming, warm, cozy, and beautiful. The rooms are great and ours had a heated bathroom floor - perfect for returning from those cold winter walks. They were great to our dog, Gabe and made us feel like he was as important a guest as we were. We have stayed in several hotel in Quebec on other visits, but St Antoine was so much better in every way! If you can, make sure to enjoy their breakfast. It was an amazing buffet that could only come out of a 1st Class kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay and loved everything about the hotel; the room with a panoramic view of the St Lawrence river was just the right balance of smart, tasteful and relaxing. There were so many little touches that we felt really welcome and cared for. All the staff we met were exceptionally friendly, helpful and delivered great service. We ate twice in Bar Artefact during our stay and enjoyed some excellent cocktails and food. The location was perfect for exploring the old town and for transport links for trains, buses and ferries. When we come back to Quebec City we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

This hotel is first class - from the rooms, to service, to decor - you will have a fabulous stay. The concierge was incredibly helpful before our stay to organize spa treatments and provide meal suggestions.

Exceptional property; polished staff; Concierge is magnificent with recommendations for walking distance small local restaurant dinner reservations. This place runs like you expect it to run.

This is an amazing property with an even more amazing restaurant. High-end, but welcoming to familiies and infused with a warm welcoming ambiance. Love it.

What a wonderful end to 2025! The hotel location, rooms, and staff made us feel special and comfortable. The lobby has a familial/après-ski feel with an engaging and caring staff. Just delightful.

What an amazing property! It’s upscale and beautiful. The rooms are well done. The breakfast is delicious, the artifact bar has great oysters. But the highlight is the concierge, Marjorie. I hope she reads this because I cannot thank her and Genevieve enough! They helped me plan an amazing getaway including helping with all of our reservations, every recommendation was amazing. The entire vacation I owe to them - so this property is so much more than just a hotel - it’s expert guidance on how to have the perfect holiday in Quebec. Thank you to them!

I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel and, for the most part, it was great. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is second to none. The restaurants and bar are beautiful and worth the price. The only problem… the construction they don’t tell you about on their website (hopefully that will be fixed soon). We arrived late Saturday night and were able to sleep well enough into Sunday but, Monday morning, the hammering, drilling, and pounding started at 7am, rattling us out of our slumber. This would continue daily from 7am until 4pm until we checked out. At first, the front desk told us it was the street construction outside and they were powerless to do anything about it, but this is not the case. The hotel is in the process of expanding and the construction noise was coming from behind our bedroom wall!! Now, to be fair, the staff was extremely sympathetic to our situation and made several accommodations for us, which was quite nice and appreciated. However, I feel it was unfair that we were never notified that there was construction going on at the hotel. We were told it will continue until early 2027. So, fair warning… the hotel is lovely in every way… but if you stay here in 2026, you run the risk of dealing with a fair amount of construction noise. I look forward to giving a 5 star review after my next visit…
