Auberge Saint-Antoine

We booked a dinner for over 65 people on November 6, 2025. The utensils were dirty, and what can I say about the woman who served us? Disparaging remarks, no smiles, and above all, mediocre, rushed service. Every request seemed to bother her. Sighs, sweating, and an unpleasant attitude. As for the rest of our stay, it was impeccable. Courteous service at reception, and what can I say about the valet? Wow! We will return, but we will eat out next time.

It like a walk through the past. The remnant of the old French port is preserved and in front of the hotel entrance. staff happily and welcomingly greet you. As you enter the doors, you've stepped into another century, offering an understated elegance. Can't beat the location: minutes to old town Quebec City and from the Frontenac castle

Construction on the roof on top of my room (208)around 7am i could not sleep and its getting worse by 9am until I checked out but my friend’s room(204) has nothing. My wooden bed frame is not steady and squeaking every time I move. We order some oysters and cod crudo. Oyster was horribly not fresh the meat was black and stink I couldn’t believe they serve clients with that quality oyster. I Talked to waiter he offer to change fresh oysters. New oysters platter came which look much better than the first oysters but I tried 3 of them and they were all stink and an edible. I had to spit out and my friends agreed they’re all bad. Cod crudo was also very fishy we also had to return.

From the warm welcome to the small details throughout my stay, this is a very clear example of a team that takes hospitality very seriously.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome! The staff greeting us as we got out of the taxi to the front desk and everyone in between, including the concierge during out entire stay-just amazing! One could tell that the rooms are designed for maximum guest comfort with so many positiive highlights: huge bathtub, heated bathroom floor, space to put away clothes separate from the sleeping area, turn down service and treats. Comfortable beds, pillows, an extra seating area. A huge Kudo to the design team for including in each room, in the halls and throughout the hotel, some of the relics found in the area. It gave us historical understanding and appreciation for all that went into the planning of this hotel. The location is outstanding for old Quebec City. One can walk so easily to see everything. An unexpected gift to us was that the hotel will loan a car to guests. We were able to see the falls and Ile dʻOrleans one morning, thanks to their generosity. Make sure to stop at the concierge, we also learned that they have tickets to museums and other places there. We even got cookies to eat at our departure. Truly, we highly recommend this beautiful hotel which represented all the best of what a place can be! Merci

Perfect place to stay. Courteous staff. Historic location. Kept very clean. Lounge is a bit pricy even for a R&C, especially small wine pours. Rooms are well appointed for all your needs. Special touches: tea and chocolates at night with turndown, heated bathroom floors, large shower, good bathroom products. Mattress could be changed. It definitely dipped downhill to the sides from extensive use.

Classy, quiet, interesting archeological finds decorate the walls. Great safe location, a few blocks from the lower main tourist area. You can see the transitions between old and new construction with the newer walls constructed of brick. Room was clean, spacious, well appointed. Brunch in the restaurant was excellent. We did a regular and a vegetarian tasting menu at night in the restaurant Coteau (same location as brunch) and both were excellent, in fact, surprisingly, the vegetarian menu was almost better than the regular menu except for the excellent lobster and wagyu beef dishes. We would definitely stay here again as a first choice.

I highly recommend staying at Auberge Saint-Antoine. We were treated with great care from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The staff was great, the location was perfect and I can't say enough about the ambience. We loved the whole experience!
