We loved everything about this hotel. It’s clean, beautiful, and quiet and it had little touches that made it special. We were welcomed to our room at check in with fresh strawberries and cakes - both absolutely delicious. Each day we had room service and an evening turndown with chocolates and a large water bottle to enjoy. The bathroom had a black ‘cosmetics’ cloth to clean my face to not dirty up the white one, which is very thoughtful. The breakfast brunch at Coteau was second to none; an absolutely fabulous selection with everything fresh and locally grown/sourced. We very happily ate there 3 of the 4 mornings we were there. Service was wonderful - the bar staff at Artefact were friendly and accommodating, willing to make any drink we requested and fun to sit and chat with. The front desk staff were also extremely helpful and polite. The gym was fully equipped with everything we needed - free weights, benches, a cable machine, various cardio equipment, kettlebells, step boxes, TRX bands, battle ropes, bosu/yoga balls, and cushioned mats. The sauna was also a special treat after days of sightseeing. I was often the only person in the entire spa area, which made it feel like my personal space. The lobby has flavoured water, fresh coffee, and apples each morning and throughout the day. Its location is so fantastic to navigate the city’s Old Town, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, art galleries, and shopping within a 10 minute walk radius. We will definitely be back!

Loved the museum pieces in common areas and use of antiques in my suite as well. Close to Lower Old Quebec sites and shops. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful.The concierge services were very good. The dining both formal and in bar was gourmet.

Close to all the shopping downtown and cruise ship docks - outstanding breakfast and dinner- clean rooms

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights, so we really had a chance to get to know this hotel. The staff was wonderful and the location was ideal. The hotel overall was beautiful and the artifacts displayed throughout the property were really fascinating. The bar off the lobby was quite nice, with wonderful bartenders, and the restaurant was fantastic, also with a beautiful bar, exceptionally good food, great bartenders and wonderful servers. This all being said, there are definitely quirks with this hotel that need to be shared with fellow travelers looking to stay here. We had a "Luxe Terrace" room with a king bed that was very spacious and quiet. The furniture though is quite eclectic and the bathroom had some interesting design elements that were not quite our style but it was still very nice. The toilet had it's own "room" with a curtain, which was very strange and it was "engineered" with all sorts of bells and whistles (remote control, beeping every time you sat down, etc.), which is also not our style - but the worst part was the smell. There was a terrible "septic" kind of smell coming from the toilet and it was quite overwhelming. We thought it might dissipate after a day or two but it never did. It was really bad. The other major issue was the view. The view was actually really wonderful however after our second night we woke up to an enormous cruise ship completely blocking the entire view and this changed everything! It was awful. Then to add to the harshness of this, there were 2 more cruise ships that came in and docked right in front of our room. Absolutely unbearable. You can see the photos of our view with and without the cruise ship. This really left us with a bad taste about the room and location which is really unfortunate because the hotel, the view we had, and the room overall was really nice. Not sure I would stay here again.

Quaint hotel with great ambiance and wonderful staff

Beautiful place to stay! Right in the heart of old Quebec. Every little detail from the museum artifacts to the little bag of cookies that they give you with your departure makes this place a five star and above.

Nice atmosphere

Concierge Genevieve was so helpful and courteous. Food at Artifact was delicious and breakfast - Wow, the croissants made me feel like I was in France!

This is a fantastic property. Has the feel Of a boutique hotel with large rooms.
