The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino

Well what can I say....it would be nothing less then rude if I was to rate this hotel anything other the. Terrible! Please do not stay at this hotel! Hotel needs a serious deep clean! I saw two rats during my stay near the reception and restraunt and no one was bothered! I couldn't sleep and booked myself out the very next day!

Beautiful location, awesome pool.. Food is exceptionally good.. Just the TV in the room didnt work.. If you take your personal car, dont hand over for parking. They drive pretty rash.. Our car got a big scratch on the doors..

Good ... Clean rooms. ... Beach access. ... Vast property. Good for walking. ... Tasty authentic Indian food (particularly breakfast and seafood at fins) ... Beautiful and clean pools. Can be improved ... Not very infant friendly. Pram has to be lifted from ground to first floor (no elevators or handicap access) ... Certain things were not working when the room was given to us ... Phone, dryer in bathroom. In room dining menu was missing. ... Water not hot in the evenings. Challenge to give baby bath late in the day or before bed. ... Staff is little stiff (more corporate like professionals), less of a resort like joyous, happy. ... Room service food served was not hot. Takes 1/2 hr plus sometimes. ... Baby cot was not available to us during the stay. All baby cots were given out. ... No electric plug points near bed side. Only available at the reading desk. ... Mosquitoes, insects and some roaches we had to kill in the room. In room my equity repellent not effective.

Fantastic place. Extensive grounds and facilties, a full day (and a half ?) should be set apart for just the resort, ideally. Staff very helpful and accomodating. Private access to a perfectly clean, safe beach; shade to lie in, if that's preferred. Food's excellent; dinner buffet on the beach should not be missed. Other shacks on the beach worth sampling, as well.

We had stayed for 2N. It was over all comfy stay. Staff is very helpful.

From the moment we arrived we were delighted by this resort. It was a birthday celebration for my wife and the hotel made a special day for her. The spa was amazing and reasonable pricing. All the rooms faced the pool and were very spacious and comfortable. The pool was lovely with the meandering pool as well as a lovely smaller, quieter one around the side. The beach was a short walk along the beautiful garden path and was very secure. They had security there to sign you on and out of the beach for the safety of the guests! Food was very good and the staff were all outstanding. They had a casino there as well if you are so inclined. I was concerned about the noise from the casino but that was a non issue. Highly recommend this resort and would definitely return.

Classy Resort and big resort... On the beach. Biggest Pool, good spread of breakfast, big lawns, decent casino and kids room with attendants. Went on 2nd Oct so could not enjoy the FIN Shack. Buffet for Lunch was good. Loved the stay.

It's a mix response.. while check - in we got a very warm welcome with welcome drink. It's a huge property with a huge swimming pool and sports activities. The Varca beach is beautiful and approach to beach from hotel is also good. Variety of breakfast was served. Didn't understand the logic behind check in snd check out time..it's wierd that u can not check in before 3:00 pm but have to check out by 11:00..i.e. u pay more but are not allowed to spend time for even 24 hours. Had to atleast call atleast 10 or more times for room cleaning and house keeping.. they were not able to handle the guests despite the booking were in advance. The most surprising thing in today's scenario they charge Rs. 8 per minute for local call and no logic behind that. In the same amount one can do an ISD call from their own mobile!!!

I have stayed twice at this hotel. Both times were fabulous. The Zuri has four main assets: (1) a huge swimming pool, with a swim-up bar; (2) fabulous food at very, very reasonable prices for a 5-star hotel; (3) stunning and immaculately well-maintained gardens; and (4) close proximity to a private beach. The bars have a decent selection of wines and spirits, local and imported, at very reasonable prices. On arrival, I was offered a complimentary beer or mocktail. The check-in process was painless, and I was escorted to my room by one of the staff and shown how everything works. The room was spotless. The bathroom and shower were large. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. For me, few things are more desirable than an excellent cup of coffee in the morning. And I must say that the coffee at the Zuri is spectacular. The fresh fruits and juices were excellent. If you are looking for value for money, a beach property, and great food and drinks, then the Zuri is for you. There is live music most evenings. From the airport, you can get a taxi as cheap as 700 INR to the Zuri. Finally, and perhaps one of the best things about the hotel, is that the staff are honest. On my first stay at the hotel, one of my neighbours left a Rolex at the hotel and it was recovered by housekeeping.

It was very relaxing , really enjoyed.
