"AMAZING to stay at a FLW designed property"

10.0

Absolutely loved staying in a Frank Lloyd Wright designed property - his only skyscraper to be built. They weren't offering breakfast but that was OK as there were plenty of options nearby. Lovely comfortable beds, super large room with windows all around. On 12th floor we had a wonderful view of the city.

"Function Follows Form and it shows"

6.0

I was looking forward to staying here as I am a fan of historic properties. FLW is known for form over function and this building is a good example, There are three tiny elevators - if you have more than 1 person and luggage, you won't fit. The second floor has a small museum and the floor space is so cut up that it is laughable. The room was large and spacious - nice wall of windows. There were plenty of plugs - all along the baseboards. There was no light switch near the bed, so turn out the lights and then find the bed. The design of the bed frame pretty much guaranteed that you would bark your shins getting in and out. Couldn't really take a shower as the water never got hotter than lukewarm. Whoever cleaned the shower missed a HUGE wad of hair on the back wall of the shower. As much as I want to, I cannot recommend this hotel. Stay at a chain in town, get better amenities and spend less.

"Super cool!"

10.0

This is the second "coolest" place we've ever stayed! It is a rare opportunity to stay (for a very modest price) at the FLW designed place. And Bartlesville is a quaint little place with several things to explore. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in art and architecture as a fun stay.

"Very cool weekend getaway!"

10.0

We stayed at the Inn at Price Tower for my husband's birthday get away weekend. He has been a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright for years and wanted to stay in the Inn. It did not disappoint! It is a unique destination and the decor was awesome. We stayed in a two-story king suite and were very impressed. The hotel is beautiful and the amenities were great. We weren't able to eat at the restaurant on the 15th floor as it was being renovated but we did eat dinner at the Plaza restaurant on the terrace and had a delicious meal and great weather. We enjoyed our experience and definitely recommend a stay at the Inn.

"Frank Lloyd Wright building that is kind of wrong."

4.0

Interesting Frank Lloyd Wright building built in 1956. It is basically an arts center but has a few hotel rooms. I have travelled throughout the US and Europe and all the hotels had amenities except this one. No shampoo. No tissues. No coffee. The bar of soap they gave us barely lasted the 2 days we were there. Didn’t have hot water for our first day there and the carpet in the room was stained and dirty. We ate at the patio restaurant. The food was very good. We were disappointed in our hotel room.

"Unique, airy, fun, historical venue"

10.0

First thing’s first: adjust your expectations. This is a historic venue. Sometimes the showers take a long time to heat up and sometimes they stay lukewarm. Sometimes it’s hot or cold because there are no individual thermostats. Fans and heaters are provided aa needed. I haven’t stayed in the winter, but in the summer, once the sun goes down, with the fans, it’s quite pleasant. I stayed in the king bed two story suite. It’s airy, full of light, roomy, beautiful. I adore the tall windows. There is a TV upstairs and downstairs. The bed is plush and comfy and the linens crisp, fresh, and clean. The bathroom is quite small, but inline with FLW and the times. The facility gives tours and they are interesting and enlightening! There is a restaurant on site, open Tuesday through Saturday (reviewed separately). It’s the closest thing you get to elevated in Bartlesville. They have trivia Tuesdays, wine Wednesday, live entertainment Thursday, karaoke Friday, and regular Saturdays. Staff is always wonderful. Highly recommended. But please don’t rate this unique, historical site on the same plane as four seasons.
