Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Airport / Plainfield

This is a decent hotel, but is showing its age. Sticking bathroom door, cable tv not connecting, plumbing fixtures worn. Staff was nice.

Really nice hotel. Our suite was very spacious. Door between bedroom and sitting area. Also has a separate heating/cooling unit for bedroom and seating area. Kitchen was a perfect addition for our needs. For sure staying again when we come to this area. Now I am considering changing our reservations for our other tournaments to this hotel. Such a nice stay. As a side note, with so many hotels I come out of the hotel with horrible allergies. Here, I didn’t.

They closed the hot tub. Was one of the reasons I booked this hotel They did not advise the closure prior to my stay. Very disappointing.

The stairway smells horrible

I have never had a bad experience at a Hilton until now. Several things went wrong, from the room to the service and overall stay. I will not stay here again. Asked for room service twice and they never came to clean my room my entire stay, had to ask several time for toilet paper and one point they said they didn’t have any and said I can use tissues, I had to take one from the lobby bathroom. Ran out of everything. The ac thing in the wall didn’t work, tvs didn’t work when we got to room. Door handle falling off and frame ac thing was loud. One of my key cards didn’t work. Beds make a lot of noise and not comfy. Drawers wouldn’t close right and lady bugs in my room. The laundry was not working which made me frustrated. Guy at check in was rude with no communication and didn’t tell me about anything for hotel like time for breakfast or about the amenities or even where my room was unfriendly. The size and pillows was the only plus my kids did enjoy the pool was just hot inside.

I booked and paid through Expedia. They billed me full price for the room anyway when checking into the properly and so far more than 3 months later after repeated attempts to get a refund I still have not even gotten an email or call back. Simply thieves with a terrible sense of customer service. Avoid at all costs! Over $400 lost!

When we checked in, there was no one at the front desk. It took about 2-3 minutes for someone to even realize that we were there. The room was very cold our entire stay and the heat was on for the entirety of our stay and never really went off. Even when I turned the thermostat up, the temperature never went up, but rather went down. This could be because we were in a room next to the elevator. The outlets did not work. Even when pushing the reset button on the outlet, the hair dryer did not work. Even when pushing the reset button on the hairdryer, it was still not working. The only outlets that worked were the ones on the nightstand lamps and the one by the sofa to charge my laptop. We were disappointed to discover that the hot tub was under repair for our stay. This information should be included on the website for anyone looking forward to using the hottub or even the pool during their stay. When we went down for breakfast the morning of our second day, we were disappointed to find out that the waffle makers were not in service due to there being no mix available. We were also disappointed in the selection of hot food. Its a good thing that we always have extra food that we bring each time we stay in a hotel. We frequent this hotel as this is one of our favorite "home away from home" establishments. This stay was very disappointing. We are also Silver Reward Members. As a result, we may have to find a new favorite "home away from home" when we stay in Plainfield.

Very friendly team. Easy check-in. Convenient restaurants nearby. Bummer the hot tub was closed for maintenance.

It was clean, and the woman at the front desk was so friendly and made check-in so easy!

Friendly front desk staff. Nice hotel. Breakfast was great and the pool was nice. There is also a nice patio area at the hotel. Would definitely come back on the warmer months. The only complaint was the doors need replaced. Had to use the key card several times to get our room door and the door from the parking lot to open.
