Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Dayton South, OH

Decently priced room, air conditioning worked well. Was located in a convenient enough area to get to our destinations within a decent time frame.

Hallway grabages were jam packed of same garbage the two nights we stayed, some on the floor near the cans. Bedding was a bit stained in a few spots and had globs of hair under the sheets.

We stayed in a King room 309. The room was not very large so we would look for a larger suite if available next time, but it was manageable. It had the standard microwave, fridge and coffee maker. A/C control on the wall. The bathroom needs a towel rack for hand towels. The shower was good. There was bar soap but shampoo and conditioner was on the wall of the shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again when in the area.

Good sized rooms

One staff member communicated very poorly, he left my wife to climb the wrong staircase which only went as far as the 2nd floor whereas our room was on the 3rd floor and didn't care to tell her she was going the wrong way. Stairwells stink of cannabis or dirty clothes.

Plenty of towels

The elevator was broken, the stairway was musty smelling, the breakfast was a little to be desired and the TV channel selection was very minimal.

On our way to Omaha. This was a quick overnighted. The 7p-7a host was Richard and he was the nicest guy! Extremely accommodating. This guy is what all hotel front desk host should be like! Give this guy a huge raise and praise! And move him to Day shift he is way to social to be wasted on nights!!

The front desk and kitchen staff were exceptionally friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean!

It was 16 miles off the main interstate for us. The location description did not indicate that.

My stay was not a great one! I chose the hotel based on the great location. I reached out to the front desk immediately with my concerns. In which I was told the Manager was going to reach out to me in the morning. I was also offered hot chocolate due to the inconvenience . The next morning at check out I expressed my concerns with the condition of the room and again was told the Manager is pretty busy and would reach out to. This was April 3, 2026! I reached out 2 days later still nothing. I felt it was awful not receiving any type of communication from the manager at any point! I had several complaints in which I took pictures since the Front desk staff had me take them and send to her! 1-The shower had hair all over the shampoo and conditioner bottles. 2-Used Q tip under the sink 3-Old food in the fridge 4-Hard dried food behind the couch 5-Ants all over the wall and air conditioner I checked out the next morning and stayed at Staybridge which was much better and also clean!
