Fridge was noisy, but for the most part the room was just fine.

Best price but dont expect any luxury features.. clean room nice amd quiet. Bring your own pillow. Theirs are not too comfy. Close to many tourist spots

The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful whenever I interacted with them. The facility is old and run down and the area of the city feels a little bit unsafe. But it i centrally located and a lot of San Francisco is easily reachable from there. The WiFi was working well.

Very pretty common area. But no hair dryer or fridge.

1. The Ugly: It should be noted that the only reason I rate this place 3.5/5 is because of the location. In one hand, it is only 20' by foot away from the Union Square, meaning super convenient and there are shops and restaurants around. HOWEVER, it is also located at the border of the Tenderloin, the most notorious neighborhood of SF full of homeless and drug addicts, and urine (yuck). I would recommend people to take a detour (Either bus or walking) so that you dont have to go across the Tenderloin to get to the Union Square 2. The Good: Friendly and supportive staff. Daily janitor kept the room clean. Room of decent size, well-furnished, not new but not too old. The common zone is quite beautiful with a garden and seats outside. In a nutshell: I would still recommend this place as a place to stay in SF, since its price is reasonable and close to U.S just be cautious of the Tenderloin area and avoid making eye-contact with suspicious people as much as possible. The first day we walked across the area and it was the most horrible experience of my life so far

This old hotel is in the center of San Francisco and has free parkingplaces for guest. Very close to busstop so you can easily go to different sides of the city without travelling by car. For travellers not used to the big city this is a pré. No television, while this was promised. For people who stay only for a short while a hoor choice.

Very well placed and the room was spotless.The room wasn't so noisy so no problems to sleep due to a hard matress and comfortable bed. Wooden floor in the room and no carpet what a relief.Good breakfast.No complaints at all.

this is an old motel im ok with old usually but its worn out. There isnt any AC - the toilet seat has places where the wood is showing and the tub/shower combo is so old the porcelain finish is missing in spots. when you open the window the homeless encampment odor waft up to your room. the sheets are see through. the bath towels were either dirty or pemanentl stained with streaks fro others visit. The red chair in the picture was comfortable and the TV was nice.

This is my go-to place for staying in the City after a show. No frills hotel. You get what you pay for. Descent location, free-parking and the best shower hot water pressure in the City!
