B&B Salerno IN Centro

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen und nahe am Zentrum, man kann alles zu Fuss erreichen. Das Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles nötige. Für eine Nacht absolut super!

1) Check-In facile nonostante avessimo prenotato la sera stessa all'ultimo minuto dopocena. 2) Appartamento pulito e dotato dell'essenziale per soggiorni brevi. 3) Zona centralissima con tutti i servizi nelle vicinanze

Breakfast facilities are available, you supply the food. A couple of close markets, very cheap. Charming old town square nearby, as well as entertainment/shopping. Stay in the lit areas of town

Le camere moderne e pulite, la possibilità di usufruire della cucina. La gentilezza, la disponibilità della proprietaria che nonostante ci fosse stato un piccolo disguido ha risolto con molta professionalità e i suoi consigli su dove poter mangiare risultati ottimi. Davvero apprezzato. La posizione perfetta.

Curerei un po' di più la zona comune del palazzo, specialmente l'ingresso.

The communication from the owner/manager was fantastic. Very quick and clear communication from the onset. The supply of towels was great as they were changed mid way through out stay and the pillows and the mattresses were comfortable. Do go and check out the breakfast included with the stay as Barumberto was really lovely. We didn't do this until our last morning and we were sorry that we didn't go every morning. Very easy access to the beach, marina and lovely restaurants. Not a long walk to the train station - doable even in the heat and with luggage if you don't mind being a bit warm!

The accommodation was one of the poorest that we have stayed in for a long time. The accommodation was shared but it was not made clear that it was three apartments versus the two that we had booked so we shared the common area between three apartments instead of the just for our group. There was not sufficient seating in the common area for more then one apartment at a time so our two groups (two families of 4) could not use the space together. There was also no seating area in the common space unless you sat at the breakfast bar. There was also a camera in the shared area which we did not see at first, Very unpleasant to find out you and being filmed without your knowledge. The accommodation is classed as air conditioned. Whilst there were air conditioners that were more than enough for the double beds in the bottom area of the rooms, it did very little for the upstairs loft spaces particularly in Apartment 1. It was so hot in this space that we ended up taking the mattresses off of the beds and moving them in to the main room to enable our teenagers to get some sleep. In addition, the sheets would not stay on the beds. Half way through the night the bottom fitted sheet would be off and need to be replaced. There was very little storage which made for very messy accommodation. There was a chest of drawers in the loft space of Apartment 1 but nothing in Apartment 2. There was a hanging rack but no place to put anything else. Apartment 1 did have a small 'closet room' off of the main bedroom however this had no light and was damp and unclean so we did not use it other then to move the chair out of the main room to make way for the single mattresses from upstairs. The bathrooms were not clean. The floor felt dirty from the moment we arrived. The shower doors did not close well and there was constant water on the floor by the loo. We would not stay here again.
