Malaga Inn

Staff was exceptional in trying to accommodate us. The court yard was beautiful.

The room itself was unacceptable. Beds were uncomfortable, mold in the bathtub, stains on the chair, no surface to put things, nowhere to hang towels, TV was dysfunctional, remote was filthy/sticky, had to manually plug in lamps to get them to work and bugs flying around. Elevator was broken.

Zentrale Lage. Vieles war fussläufig erreichbar. Ganz toller Innenhof mit Springbrunnen und Sitzgelegenheiten!

Ein Kühlschrank wäre schön gewesen.

L'amabilité des personnes à la réception Hôtel dans son jus alors ça a son charme mais faut aimer.

Pas de café ou de fontaine à eau en libre-service comme dans les autres hôtels. Chambre avec vue sur cour, donc impossible d'ouvrir les rideaux.

This is a beautiful period property. The garden is stunning. The house is clearly a labour of love in restoration. Gorgeous. Free parking. Good WiFi. Great location. Large room. Staff incredibly friendly. Bed very comfortable.

No restaurant. Bea cause it’s an old property the lock for the room was very tricky and could use some TLC to make it easier to use.

The staff was excellent.

The building had great character but it needed renovating, and several repairs.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. In addition the location is great with many of the sites and best restaurants in Mobile within walking distance. The hotel is an old converted mansion and has lots of character.

The outside court yard could use some maintenance and better layout.

WiFi in our room didn’t work

The location of Malaga Inn in historic district of downtown Mobile is just lovely. The Inn is easily in walking distance to restaurants and bars. While the old historic building has its charm including a lovely courtyard with fountain, the room was terrible. We were on the third floor (top) and the balcony leading to the room felt unstable. The bathroom ceiling had had some water damage and the low ceiling was soft to the touch having no had proper repairs done. (Which will quickly lead to a mold problem) the furniture looked as if it had been bought at a garage sale. Nothing went together and it was tacky and rickety. The were two full size beds and one old living room end table turned to its side between the beds. You could y even reach it from either bed to lay down your glasses or phone. And it had no bedside lighting. The beds were both awful. One was very lumpy and the other sank in the middle. The sink drained very slowly and staying filled with water. There were clean towels but no bath mat. The staff that we met were all very kind and pleasant but for the price of the room ($150), I cannot recommend this place at all.
