Malaga Inn

I loved the ambience of this property. I decided to book this property knowing it was a boutique inn with interesting local stories attached to it. I had so much charm at a really good price. The staff were so helpful supplying a fridge for medication. If you want somewhere historic, this is the place to stay. The gorgeous courtyard is full of charm and all rooms are arranged so they open out to this area. We were on the bottom floor making checking in easy. If you appreciate unique historic places then the Malaga Inn is definitely worth checking out. My husband and I had a lovely stay and wished we had more time to explore the area more.

We will definitely stay again! Our stay here was so peaceful. It was very laid back and beautiful. The front desk was so helpful! We stayed here the night before a cruise. It was a mini vacation before our vacation. I recommend keeping your car here while on the cruise. There is a golf cart company that will pick you up and take you to the port for a flat fee.

I wish there were more outlets, but that's part of staying at a historic site. Not a big deal!

I grew up in Mobile and moved away many decades ago. I wanted to share with my family the charm, history and beauty of mobile. The Malaga was the perfect "home base" for my family as we explored the city. My family struggles being comfortable away from home. Our nights were so restful at the Malaga, the staff were so friendly and accomodating- it felt like home.I can't say enough things about how wonderful it was to be their guest!

Beautiful historic building and courtyard.

Bad cleaning, no hot water, old beds, staff not very helpful.

The Malaga was the perfect place for us to explore Mobile and to feel part of the city's history. Romantic, friendly, comfortable and truly historic. The location was great, walking distance from the Mardi Gras museum, the best night life and hottest restaurants in town. Friendly staff, nice rooms, secluded, parking, and the rates are unbeatable. Staff were friendly, attentive, helpful. A place I hope to go back to.

Desk staff was welcoming.

Dirty and in disrepair. Sink and tub didn’t drain. Hair, dust, and stains present. Thermostat and TV didn’t work I slept in my puff jacket. Very uncomfortable and noisy. Highly overpriced for conditions. Even the parking lot needs TLC.

It was a lovely old inn, room was large and comfortable. The courtyard garden was very pretty. Bed comfortable, but pillows were way to thick to sleep comfortably. No choice available. Very convenient location to walk to where there were restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Very helpful in giving us a list that were just a 10 minute walk away. If you like historical buildings recommended. Easy parking provided.

The only real.downside was the fact that there wasn't a lift and we had heavy suitcases to take upstairs to our room.

It had lots of character and is in a great location within walking distance to restaurants. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

The street noise coming from the building site but can’t stop construction.
