Super 8 by Wyndham Santa Cruz Beach

The pool was small but perfect and great! The room was super comfortable and quiet!! The staff were amazing. The breakfast was kind of slim, but we did enjoy what you did have. The location was amazing...thank you so much!

Maybe a little pressure washing of the walkways would be good to clean it up a bit. Maybe some fresh paint on the outside and a little fine tuning of the facility/a little upkeep would be good. Otherwise, we had a great time!! Thank you!!

The hotel sits on a busy road, so you can hear all the noise from the bikers, trucks, etc. There is no soundproofing at all! At night, we could hear the sound of neighbor's TV, at 5 am - seagulls. But what is absolutely the worst is their beds! They have metal frames and some sort of metal springs that make a loud noise every time you sit down, get up or turn in bed. The worst hotel we have ever experienced.

The key card did not work- had to go to office every time we wanted in our room to unlock it

Easy 5 min walk to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and amusement pier. Parking is tight but free. Desk recommended not leave anything out in sight. Room and the shower were nice. Felt clean. A/C worked well, TV had many options. Refrigerator and microwave. Free breakfast was banana, granola bars, O,J and coffee (plenty for me). Didn’t use the pool. Price was right considering its location.

Cost effective and very nice upgraded rooms. The outside doesn’t match how lovely the rooms were and bonus is you can walk to the boardwalk and the wharf very easily. Staff was super nice and you could grab coffee, cereal, or granola bar every morning. Awesome and super happy with our stay!

Close to attractions and the beach, everything walking distance.

Breakfast was old, stale. Room was dirty. Water smelled horrible. Noisy from traffic and other people staying at the hotel late at night. Parking was horrible, no room for all the cars. Over priced for such a horrible place to stay.

location- walking distance to Boardwalk/beach Room- newly painted and newer flooring, bed was comfortable, new linens, had hair dryer and ample shower products, larger mini fridge and new microwave, window opened and could lock, dresser was newer as well pool- small but clean breakfast- offered staff- was pleasant check in- easy and texted balcony- nice view with bistro tables & chairs surrounded by ample succulents

-Early and late check in fees charged, 1hr & 2hr -parking lot : small spots and difficult to enter and exit - needed another cushioned seat in room - newer water faucet looks nice but only hot ir warm water, cool only dribbled out telephone- needs to be replaced, filthy and old looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years, scary Breakfast- was minimal should state continental

We arrived and were able to check in right away. Check-in took a little longer than usual, but hey we got our room! We did ask for connectings rooms but he mentioned that they had to be the same, but he still put us next to each other which was great! Breakfast was coffee, orange juice, cereal, bananas, and chewy bars. Just something quick not actual breakfast. The rooms each had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Shower has full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash just in case you forget or don't want to pack it. Beds were comfy and pillows were too. Our phone did not work, not sure why. The AC we figured out had a trick to it or it keeps turning of and room can get hot & stuffy! I do believe they do housekeeping to every room daily, so tell them you don't want it because there is no sign for door. The housekeepers were very nice and friendly! Parking is pretty tight and even worse when you have people who don't park right. We had no issue with our parking and rarely moved because everything was walking distance for us. Pool was small but perfect. It went from 4ft to 7 feet deep! My kids and family enjoyed it. Doesn’t need to be a big pool to have fun! Plus, it was just some downtime we had from other plans. Only issue was cold water pressure was low-none & they shut off our water to fix a leak and didn't inform us until i went to ask. You're walking distance to the boardwalk, restaurants, beach, and much more. I would definitely stay here again!
