Great property with professional service!

Beautiful hotel on the south side. 2 minute walk from the water ferry. Restaurants across the street. The gringo restaurant in the hotel is really great. Good food and drinks. Chicken drop is a fun game for anyone on Thursday night. Staff at the hotel was super friendly. I was in room 305. King bed overlooking the ocean. Beautiful sunrise!

Overall, I enjoyed the property and location. There is a seawall and I didn't see anyone in the ocean in front of the hotel. The restaurant was the biggest downfall. We were given a menu and they charged us more saying they were in between menus.

Loved the staff and facilities. We used them all - the pool - the beach chairs - drinks at the bar - CHICKEN DROP BINGO!! The bed was so comfy and the shower was dreamy. We loved our stay there - great value too!

Water smells need more water pressure

Definitely showing its age. Decent place for the money.

We stayed in a basic room, although they have larger rooms, ours worked out perfectly. The bathroom with toilet and sink was small and the shower was inside the room (separated by a shower curtain). That was a first for us, it was pretty funny to have that but the room totally worked for us. It was clean, maintained and room service every day. You could tell it had older furnishings, but they kept things in good working order. If you are looking for a fancy resort type of stay, you should probably vacation elsewhere. We all really enjoyed our time at this hotel. The staff was friendly, they have a restaurant & pool. Our room included a mini fridge, microwave, and room safe.

Loved the staff here everyone was so amazing and helpful.... the location was good. Walking distance to everything you might need. But golf coarse reccomended to really explore. Rooms were meh...but how much are you in your room when your in paradise. I would stay her again for sure.

Corona Del Mar is conveniently located just outside of mid town San Pedro, so it isn’t right in the centre but it’s a short walk almost anywhere you need to go. The staff are friendly but the facilities are dated and in poor condition. Our first night we spent in a lower room and the shower was bad and the room was dark and damp so there were dozens of mosquitos. We asked to be moved but they didn’t have another room so we asked again the next morning and we were moved to the 3rd floor, a more “delux suite” that was much better. It still had damage to parts of the sink, floor and furniture but was bigger and brighter. It was over the bar, which gets very noisy at night especially on Thursdays and Sundays when they do the Chicken Drop. The chicken drop seemed a bit cruel to the chickens, who are man-handled and then shouting onlookers yell at the chickens to land on their number. I’m sure it’s scary for the chickens. The police even come to monitor the event because it gets rowdy. The pool was clean and nice enough. There aren’t a lot of lounge chairs on the beach, so sometimes you have to go out early in the morning to get one. Overall the price was a lot less than some of the nearby places, but you get what you pay for.

Staff were terrific and always friendly. The facilities are just old, weather worn, and tired. TV was useless, Internet poor, and absolutely - you're not going anywhere near water capable of allowing you to swim or chill. Pool was freezing & food experience for what it was. Good point ...
