The rooms were okay (the bed was good, the bathroom was not the best). The staff was great.

The front desk staff were so amazing and helpful - they went above and beyond. Best customer service I received in a very long time. They were also very responsive on their WhatsApp - even before I arrived. The hotel was in a great location, room was clean and spacious and had everything you needed. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The best thing about this property are the staff. Every one of them is amazing. I had a fair amount of problems with the room i booked - first it was directly under rooms they were renovating. The power outlet would trip every time i tried to use the coffee pot. The light outside the room was so bright it was literally like it was high noon all night long. The manager mentioned she would be putting in black out curtains but even then with light coming in around the curtain for me it would be too much. They upgraded me to another room which i greatly appreciated. My stay would have been absolutely miserable otherwise. The next problem is the thumping loud music from the outdoor bar that started in the morning and went quite late into the night. I have no idea why. There were rarely people in the restaurant and it's far enough down the beach that there arent people just walking by to entice in. And last it's the home of the chicken drop. Once a week they take poor chickens into the bar and people eagerly wait for them to poop on a number. Had i known this i wouldnt have come at all. I feel like this place is having an identity crisis. They market it like a peaceful family friendly beachfront resort, but they run it like a party hostel. My upgraded room I'm sure would have been expensive to book (my terrible room was already overpriced for what it was). I would not go back. One quick last note to say the snorkel tour they booked for me was terrible. Book else

I have stayed at Corona del mar over the past 24 years. It has expanded from Woody's Wharf into the old Coconuts. Large room with nice beds. Very helpful staff and beautiful view of the reef and Caribbean

The staff was amazing.. Adelia? At the front desk was super helpful even advising me of dining and nightlife options. She went way above expected to make sure my stay was great
