Club Wyndham Kona

It was clean, very comfortable, and quiet.

Staff was a bit pushy about selling timeshare properties.

We stayed here and found the apartment generous, the facilities good (we used the gym and swimming pools) and the staff very helpful. We had a problem with our rental car and the front desk were very attentive and helped us sort the problem out with Enterprise. Well sited too - good access to local attractions / shops and to the beach where Boogie boarding was invented - without being in the centre of Kona. There is a shuttle bus if you don't want to walk into Kona. Ample parking.

The check-in process here was extremely disappointing. The front desk staff member, Albert, was very slow and unhelpful. While other guests were checking in without any issue, we were told there were no clean rooms available, even though it was obvious that rooms were being assigned. When I mentioned that I had exchanged through RCI, he asked if I was an “owner”—as if that somehow made a difference. This unnecessary delay was especially frustrating, as we were left waiting while other guests received their rooms. If this property is truly an RCI affiliate, exchange guests should not be treated differently than “owners.” The way we were handled felt dismissive and discriminatory. I do not recommend staying here if you are using an RCI exchange—it was a very unpleasant first impression and left us feeling unwelcome.

Girls trip with best friend and Kona and the Club Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort did not disappoint, our accommodations were amazing and the Island was quiet and filled with lots and lots of charm - from their Farmers Market’s to their delicious local spots to dine and be sure to enjoy a Luau.

I love the location and feel of the resort. Felt very safe and at home. Staying one week wasn't long enough. Staff was wonderful. Units are beautiful and spacious. Grounds well kept and beautiful surroundings. Will definitely be back to this resort when visiting Hawaii again.

We stayed here with family 2 adults and 2 kids 17 y and 12 y for a week. Overall the stay was very comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The housekeeping was very prompt whenever we needed towels etc.. All rooms have an ocean view from the lanai. Beach access is about a 10 minute walk. About 20 minutes to the Kona market by walk. They have 2 small pools and 2 hot tubs. One small fitness center I am going to try to list the amenities for others benefit. We didn't know some of these and ended up carrying stuff 1. Pool towels 2. Iron board with iron 3. Crockery and cutlery plenty 4. 1 large pan and 1 medium 5. 1 x large saucepan 6. 1 large pan and 1 medium 7. Colander 8. Measuring cup 9. Cutting board and knives 10. Coffee maker 11. Rice cooker 12. Blender 13. Toaster 14. Refrigerator with ice maker 15. 3 tvs 1 in each room 16. Cooler 17. Books and board games in the hospitality room by the check in

They have construction going on which was very noisy, thankfully we were able to have our condo changed to a different location. The unit was not upgraded yet, smelled a little musty but was clean and served its purpose. Pool was very busy and loud with kids the first couple days but we did get some nice relaxing days in later in our stay. Staff was great. All in all, I would stay there again
