Every member of the staff that we came in contact with was friendly and helpful! It was a great getaway! Will definitely come back again.

From check in, to the person shuttling folks to the beach, to the bartender, to the unexpected amazing breakfast with great service, to the spa services and everything in between, it was a wonderful experience.

We had an unexpected surprise when we arrived as our room was in the garden area . It was a motel configuration. While it was clear on the website , there was a 2nd floor with only stair access- it was not clear that the doors opened to the outdoors. We had a view of the street on both sides. The walls are thin and you will be able to hear your neighbors clearly. It is in very good walking location. The common areas (library, game room) offered a nice fireplace and comfortable space to read. A comfortable bed. Not a 5 star. Staff helpful, friendly in a genuine way and the breakfast meal is scrumptious. The Garden is well maintained and very pretty. Enjoyed sitting outside.

I brought my Mom last year for her birthday and she wanted to come back this year. I surprised her by upgrading our accommodation to a suite. I reserved the Newbold, she loved it!!! We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The breakfast staff were professional, attentive and kind. The omelets were AMAZING!!! Salute to the chef. The hotel staff were nice and friendly. The hotel itself was clean, warm and inviting. Our stay was well worth every mile driven and every dollar spent. 🤍

Very clean, friendly service. Breakfast daily was amazing. We stayed with 2 young kids and felt very welcomed and accommodated.

We spent several days here and enjoyed our visit and the time we spent relaxing on the property. We booked a spacious and comfortable deluxe king , which overlooked the hotel entrance. Unfortunately street cleaners woke us at 3:30 AM two nights in a row. The room air conditioner was also unusually loud so I mostly just ran the low speed fan. That wouldn’t work well in summer, though. Other than some noise in the room, the bedding and amenities were high quality. We especially enjoyed the second floor pool and hot tub right down our hallway, which were both peaceful after breakfast but less so before dinner due to loud, drinking guests each evening. The ground floor adult pool was not cleaned or maintained during our stay so we couldn’t use it, but it was still pleasant to sit in the courtyard surrounded by tall cypress trees and read and listen to the birds. I thought the hot breakfast buffet was good , especially if you like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and potatoes. The hotel also puts out cookies and lemonade in the afternoon, and offers late lunches and hot, well prepared bar menu dishes in the evenings in the cocktail lounge. We especially appreciated the friendly service from bartender Rick and beach shuttle driver Jim. Hotel parkingk is $15 in season, and we never even used our car because you can walk everywhere in town, and the daytime beach shuttle makes it easy to bring your own beach gear.

The staff was amazing, the room was beautiful and comfortable, and it’s so close to all of the town and beach.

Great service from start to finish. The staff was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout out visit. The amenities were clean, breakfast is an experience and added to the overall experience. I would recommend the updated rooms. We look forward to returning.
