Castello di Leonina Relais

We stayed here for a few nights. The rooms look beautiful on the according the the photos. The room that we had was very basic with the bare essentials. The bathroom had an old piece of metal resembling a hub cap to hod the toiletries. nothing special about the room. The restaurant was nice the food good.

After a terrible experience at Relais Ortaglia in Montepulciano we were forced to find lodging at 5PM somewhere in the area.Just looking for hotels on the 'net and chose this one. WHAT a gem! Great hospitality, stunning views of the Tuscan hillsides. Michelin star class food. Certainly the best we've eaten in Italy.Fabulous property.

Una location davvero incantevole ideale chi vuole fuggire dal caos della città e trascorrere un week end all’insegna del relax e del buon cibo oltre che buon vino,immersi in un’atmosfera magica che la Toscana ci regala con i suoi paesaggi pittoreschi.Abbiamo apprezzato il ristorante che propone una cucina di alto livello con piatti della vera tradizione toscana ma con un tocco di modernità nell’impiattamento.Il servizio curato e professionale.Di positivo: la spa piccola ma prenotabile ad uso esclusivo La piscina con un panorama unico Unica pecca a mio giudizio la poca cura dei particolari e un arredamento da rivedere.

Seul véritable intérêt de ce relais hôtel est son emplacement fantastique sur les hauteurs des crêtes de sienne. Sinon les chambres sont relativement basiques. Personnel prévenant toutefois. Très bon accueil pour motard. Attention pas de restauration à proximité immédiate sauf à réserver dans le restaurant de l’hôtel.

Die Bilder bei expedia und auch der webside des Hotels suggerieren geräumige, helle, gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Die Realität sieht anders aus: dunkles, kleines Zimmer. Verrostete Armaturen im Bad und das besondere "Highlite": die Toilettenspülung. Weiterhin funktionierte der Fahrstuhl nicht. Das Frühstück: na ja Alles in allem: von aussen hui und von innen??? Woher die vier Sterne kommen?

Super séjour Personnel au top !

Un établissement qui n'est pas à la hauteur de ses étoiles. Notre chambre familiale sentait mauvais, était sombre, très petite pour 3, la climatisation disfonctionnait, la salle de bain était vetuste. Les petits dejeuners assez basiques avec un jus d'oranges en concentré. Bref, une déception quant à nos attentes d'un lieu d'exception comme le site le laisse espérer

This is a beautiful place to stay, located on top of a hill overlooking the amazing valley below. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Sienna and 20 minutes form centro Asciano and is very well kept and is an amazing facility. The staff were all very professional and helpful. The ground of the hotel are beautiful and relaxing. The pool was great after a long hot day of walking around and sampling the local wines. My wife and I both loved the massage at the spa. We ate dinner two nights in a row and it was fabulous outdoors eating. highly recommended!

The Castello would be a very nice place like one would expect a Tuscany villa or castello. We were there for two days - and on both they had big events. Meaning dinner was not possible at all or not outside with the great view but in a little dining room. Also every parking space was full when arriving on the first day or after external dinner the second day. Meaning you have to park next to the gravel road resulting in completely dusty cars. So the only amenity we could enjoy was the nice pool. And the reception staff is very helpful and nice. If you want a quiet nice Tuscany stay, avoid this place or have them assure you In advance that there’s no mass event!
