Meadowbrook Inn

Meadow brook is a nice, no frills hotel. They do have a pool (and fitness center I believe) although we did not use either. There is a nice terrace out back with a firepit. No onsite breakfast is provided which was a disappointment. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, convenient to downtown and has onsite free parking. Room was very nice, spacious and comfortable. And the lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I felt it was a bargain for the price.

It was a great place to celebrate our Anniversary. Upon arrival , the staff were super friendly. I loved the small touches, such as, the slices of fresh oranges in the picture of water for the guest. Our room was perfect. We stayed in the Annex building. We had a King size room with a fireplace and a small sunroom. The sunroom was perfect for the cooler weather we were experiencing that weekend. The room seemed wider than most standard hotel rooms. The room was clean and there wasn't loud noises on the property. The only drawback was the elevator wasn't working. It was just inconvenient when lugging suitcases. Luckily, the building was only two floors. The location allowed us to walk to all our favorite places in Blowing Rock. Our favorite place , The Hellbender, was directly beside the upper parking lot. We enjoy The Hellbender Bed and Beverage for lunch. Visiting the ducks at the Duck Pond, on our way to the main building for either breakfast or the fire pit, was a treat. We enjoyed the breakfast. It wasn't rushed or loud. There were many choices, unlike a lot of hotel breakfasts. We sat at the white cloth draped table that looked out over The Duck Pond. Even though we didn't get in the pool, it was a nice size. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Recommended by friend. It was well worth it. The fromt desk staff was professional, accommodating, and easy to get along with. The room was larger than expected and clean. I also like they had sitting area outside. Will definitely stay here again!!

Location was great. Room was adequate, but nothing exceptional. Staff were friendly. Comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

We did not need the elevator, but our friend who was with us did need it due to a handicap and it was not working. It was fixed before his stay was over so I was happy to see that the facility took this problem seriously.

Meadowbrook Inn has been our go to lodging when visiting Blowing Rock several times each year. The Inn is conveniently located, rooms well appointed and spotlessly clean, and staff members pleasant and accommodating. And when included, breakfast offers a variety of foods, is tasty, and well prepared, and avoids the hassle of having to find and then trek out for that first meal of the day. Shops and restaurants are a brief walk away.

Great hotel in a great location! Beautiful rooms…especially the executive suite with a fireplace! The hotel staff is amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and there is something for everyone. This is a great hotel to stay with a family or as a couple. We love that you can walk to downtown Blowing Rock. It is also close to Boone and skiing. We can’t wait to return next year!
