Carneros Resort and Spa

Glammed up trailer park. Run down rooms. Pretty pool if you can get service. Overpriced. It is a shame room payments become unrefundable prior to check in. I would have checked out after inspection but I had paid $1000 a night for 4 nights. Money gone so I endured the stay.

The Carneros Resort exceeded every expectation I had. Sweet cottages, luxurious accommodations, personalized service.

Carneros is a magical place. It's a wonderful resort with so many special places. Groups of 10-12 cabins surround a courtyard. Each room is beautifully decorated with an outdoor porch and a private patio in the back. Breakfast is served near the spectacular pool setting overlooking the nearby mountains. The staff is super helpful. The gym has lots of equipment. We loved this resort and hope to return. Enjoy!

I’ve stayed at many properties throughout Napa Valley, and unfortunately, Carneros Resort and Spa was by far the worst experience I’ve had in the region. At first glance, the standalone bungalows seem charming, but the charm ends there. I stayed in Madrone 5 and was shocked by how poorly soundproofed the room was. I could hear every car door slamming, every suitcase being dragged across gravel, and every late-night or early-morning conversation happening outside. For the price, I expected peace and quiet - not to feel like I was sleeping in a parking lot. Things didn’t improve with service. I left my room at noon and returned just before 7pm to find housekeeping hadn’t touched it. No explanation, no apology. The “complimentary breakfast” was a joke: hard-boiled eggs and cheap diner-style coffee served in a pump dispenser. For a resort that charges luxury rates, this felt insulting. To top it off, dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, FARM, was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in Napa. My friend and I barely touched the food, it was that bad. This stay was a major letdown on every front. There are so many better options in Napa that offer actual hospitality, comfort, and quality. I won’t be returning.

The property is gorgeous and the cabin (2 room suite) was better than expected. The rooms were gorgeous.

The only issue we had was the hot tub didn’t work. It’s embarrassing to complain about your own private hot tub.

Hotel is stunning, cottages are massive and the service is 5 star! I highly suggest dinning at Farm, one of the best meals we have ever had. Lobster Risotto and Gnochi are incredible. The location is also great, Taylor the concierge, provide me with a solid list of suggestions based on what we were looking for. All we perfect. The house car transfers to some close by wineries made it very VIP for my wife and I. I cannot wait to return!

Our stay at Canero Resort was simply amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff at the front desk and the bellmen made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. This exceptional level of care continued with the breakfast staff, who also showed how much they value their guests. The entire team made us feel seen and ensured all our needs were met. The resort itself is absolutely fabulous, boasting a "luxury farmhouse cottage vibe" that we absolutely loved. It provided a beautiful and comfortable backdrop for our getaway. We want to give a special shoutout to Cristobal, who truly made our stay unforgettable. He went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied and accommodated all our requests. Cristobal perfectly exemplifies what great hospitality should be.

The resort itself is meticulously maintained and visually stunning. I love the cottage layout - everything feels luxurious and intimate despite the sprawling spaces and grounds. The room itself was remarkably well done- outdoor spaces as part of the room really stood out. Premium amenities and care across all aspects of service, food, comfort and amenities. The adults only pool area was quiet and relaxing and not crowded. The family pool was practically empty as well. A couple of notes to make the resort even better- the towels need to be upgraded and I wish they had provided a map of walking trails or areas from the resort. It was overall a truly special and memorable stay.
