Vamar Vallarta All Inclusive Marina and Beach Resort

Despite the fact that I had registered with a 10yr old, they said we were quoted with a baby and charged an additional fee

we ended up staying at this beautiful resort when our plans changed at the last minute. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise! everything was perfect.

The stay was decent nothing fancy. However when it came to check out at 11:00am we asked to hangout until our flight, which wasn’t until 6pm. They first said no. I was shocked. Every other resort I’d been to in the past has always allowed us to store our bags and hangout by the pool or whatever able to still enjoy the facility fully. Not these guys. They cut our bands off and said they’d allow us to only be in the lobby, only after they could see the shocked look on my face. Considering all the money we spent I didn’t think asking to stay on the grounds until 3pm, when we had to head to the airport, would be an issue. Like I said before all the other all inclusive resorts have always allowed us to stay on the grounds with our bracelets as long as we handed in our room keys. We will not be coming back to this resort.

There are always pluses and minuses to every hotel. The Vamar Vallarta All Inclusive Marina and Beach Resort defiantly not on my list to go back to ever. After staying here a week in the villas. The location is awesome as the Marina is very close and Carlos at the pool will keep the drinks coming one right after another as long as you can handle them. The rest of the staff were not friendly and have very little communication skills. Food was Subpar and usually cold, But very authentic at the buffet, Tacos for every meal. The shower head was broken sprayed water all over room. Jacuzzi tub did not work. There was a refrigerator with dishes in the room bed was comfortable. The skinny little concierge lady was far from friendly and pissed me off twice. First I asked her about the Wi-Fi that didn't work and second she charged me for a lost room key and I asked how much she said 200 pesos I said in dollars, So she said 10 dollars I gave her a 10 then she proceeded to say that's not enough dollars are worth less here at the hotel. I threw the 10 at her and told her to shove it and walked out. This place is a 3 star not a 4 and I will find a nicer location to spend my week in Mexico.

No refrigerator in room. Bathroom was small and dirty. Beds were so uncomfortable. The entertainment was all in spanish right out our door til late at night. The staff were rude and very limited English speaking.

As we arrived the hospitality was not friendly. Receptionist was rude and seem bothered. For the resort to be all inclusive but still charge for bottles water doesn't make sense. Restaurant food was cold and and no one attended to us. Didn't have many options for food, the little food I had i think I got food poising was throwing up all night. When asking for guidance of where to get food and snacks no one could guide us. Didn't receive a map of the property or information on the Wifi. When we went back to the receptionist she seemed upset and bothered that we were asking questions. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
