"Disappointed"

The property appears to be nestled in an idyllic setting up high on a hill. This is the reason we selected this property. That is not the case. It is right off a busy main highway. The only entrance is a narrow driveway to a gated entrance. Check in is in the workshop/barn/bar. Rooms were so, so. Clean. Living in Vegas when paying $400+ per night for a room you get modern amenities. Definitely not here. Needless to say, I was disappointed the property did not offer what the photos depict.

Great place—nice, clean finishes and safe! Very kind staff! One downside is the floors…if someone above you is walking around then you will likely not be sleeping in.

"Not as advertised."

Was excited to stay in what looked like an historic home with a famous breakfast buffet (100 dishes in Alabama) but disappointed to find a very average buffet in what turned out to be our only access to the historic home. It was also very off putting to have to circle a high iron fence with gates to try to figure out how to get in the parking lot. Made me question the safety of Anniston. The room was okay but could use a smart TV, new furniture and bedding, but the bathroom was decent. Handicapped access is limited.
