This hotel had the best breakfast of any I have ever stayed in! The biggest disappointment for me is their mattress in the room. It was very uncomfortable. It had a lean to it so you ended up having to slide back to the middle of he mattress every little bit. I will likely not stay again due to this reason. A uncomfortable mattress is the number one deal breaker for me regardless of how awesome the rest of the stay was.

"True Gem in Anniston"

A true gem in the small town of Anniston Alabama. The staff becomes your friend at check in and the hotel's history in enchanting. The breakfast is in the most historic setting and the food is not hotel food. Grateful to make friends at this hotel.

Beautiful complex! We didnt stay in the Victorian house but enjoyed nice breakfasts there. Our room was behind the house & very convenient to the whole place. (Parking, check-in, bar & dining room) In general, it was quiet, except for our last night. The people in the room above us were loudly walking around & dropping things onto the floor into the wee hours. The staff was excellent & very helpful & quick to respond to our needs.

"False Advertisement"

We booked the cottage suite which claimed to have a pillow top mattress king bed and a sleeper sofa for our family of 4. There is no sleeper sofa, there is a couch, which I had to sleep on and woke up with a very sore back. My wife and kids took the king, and also said it was the most uncomfortable bed they’d ever slept on and had back pain also. I thought it would be cool to book a unique stay but we didn’t have a good overall experience.

"Good stay"

rooms were nice and quaint, didn't get much info on the property after leaving found out it had history. Breakfast was good, but had to ask for all of the empty food items to be replenished with still over an hour of service left. Everyone was super nice though.
