Rodeway Inn & Suites Carrollton

The nonsmoking room smelled like someone was smoking in it and the bathtub had mildew all around it.

We were not in room 5 minutes when my grandson opened desk drawer and there was a razor blade and cigarette butts. Beds slept very well. Hotel needs repair but pool was nice. A lot of people live there. I know we will stay there again.

I just needed a hotel to stay for the night. I booked my room online a few minutes to my arrive. The staff was nice, and the room was clean and affordable.

The hotel was nice not fancy but comfortable the bathroom was quite small and not a lot of water pressure for the shower no plug for the tub if you wanted to take a bath. The room was clean pool was nice over all for the price it nice.

Room had musty smell, hairs found in bathroom in tub, toilet and floor, live bug in bathroom, dead bug in bathroom and dead worm in bathroom, I cleaned bathroom so I could stay.

I can rant and rave about how dirty this hotel was, but im going to just keep it short. It is highly recommended that if you stay here bring your own sheets,cleaning supplies, and towels. Besides the unclean room, the hotel was in a great location. Restaurants and shopping were very close (walking distance).

The location was ideal. HOWEVER, the room was in need of more than painting. The carpets needed shampooing, the air unit needed maintenance. There were rusty hinges on the doors. The shower unit was"spray cleaned" not hand scrubbed. The shower unit had weak spots, the pool was non functional and lastly, the continental breakfast area needs improvement

When entering room no lights worked, curtain was just hung over curtain rod, no garbage can in the room, spider webs in all the corners of the room, something spilled/thrown on the wall next to bed, sink did not drain, toilet did not work, toilet paper holder fell out of the wall when you pulled on the toilet paper, remote for TV did not work, and it smelled like updog in the room. Worst room I have ever occupied.

I got very little sleep. The office gave me a wake-up call which I did not ask for at 5 am twice. Then a dog started barking in a room in close proximity, and he barked non-stop for about 3 hours. The remote control on my TV did not work. Overall, I got very little sleep on a night when I had a special event the next day and really needed to be rested. I know it was cheap to begin with, so, I guess we get what we pay for. I will never stay at an Econo Inn again. The bed was fine, though, so at least one good thing. The air-conditioner/heater had no way to use a continuous fan so that I could have 'drowned' out some of the noise. Sorrry. I am not usually such a complainer, but this was upsetting. And the truckers or whoever they were, were extremely noisy leaving at the crack of dawn.

Overall a great experience. Everything is SO close to the hotel. Would stay again!
