Amara Resort & Spa

From the moment you enter their property you will be impressed! We were greeted be their complimentary valet service, our luggage was taken to our room and the front desk was so accommodating to our requests. Initially, we were given a room we were not happy with because of the location and management made sure we were happy, thank you Jesus. Their hotel restaurant was great! The food was ON point and their service was what you’d expect from a resort. You must have their margaritas, they are some of the best I’ve had. Their grounds and lobby were clean and the rooms are dated but you can overlook all of that because you know you are staying at a resort where customer service is the priority. The valet staff were incredibly kind and friendly. It’s obvious their staff are happy and that they care about their guests like they are family. If you’re looking for a great experience in Sedona, stay here. The location is central to uptown Sedona and the shops and restaurants nearby are fabulous. Thank you Amara! We will be back!

Disorganized check in. Couldn’t find the fitness room. No real meditation room. Outside seating is not comfortable and seating by the river is very dirty and the tree swing chair is installed weirdly. Staff at dinner also not great. They reached out and asked me for my feedback and said someone would reach out and nobody ever did. Massages are insanely priced for what you get

Food was amazing! Our server Calin was very nice and had excellent service. It’s also amazing views to see while you eat.

Lovely place to relax and unwind. Room was spacious, bed was comfy, and loved the views from my balcony while drinking coffee. The grounds are well-maintained and inviting. Loved the location - easy to walk and get to the shops and restaurants. The spa was amazing- best massage in a long time. Food was exceptional for breakfast and dinner. I recommend the tacos! Staff was always helpful and friendly.

We had a “premium room“ with balcony that we could not use since some guests were smoking. When we complained about it, we were told that smoking only prohibited in the rooms, but not in the balconies.

My husband and I stayed at Amara the last week of May. The weather was beautiful and made outdoor dining & activities enjoyable. Our room 208 was spacious and clean. The hotel is centrally located to the main shopping area in Sedona. There is a steep walk up to the Main Street, but the bellmen are happy to give you a ride up or down in the golf cart. The Saltrock Restaurant was delicious. It was busy so reservations are advised. We would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous scenery very clean rooms!! Staff went above and beyond keeping everything tidy and pleasant. Sebastian was very kind and considerate!!

From start to finish, everything was so fabulous here!!! The staff were great (valet, front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, spa!), and the resort was just gorgeous!!! Our only complaint is that we had to leave! 😉 Truly, thank y’all for taking such great care of us during our stay…we hope to return one day!!! 🩷
