Apex City of Glasgow Hotel

Comfortabel hotel dicht bij het centrum van Glasgow en Buchanan Bus Station.

Our second visit to Glasgow in 3 years and both times have stayed at the Apex City of Glasgow. It's in a great location within easy walking of Sauciehall and Buchanan streets with lots of options for food and for being on a somewhat busy street quiet at night and not other room noise. Rooms are nicely designed, functional, clean, staff are great and the breakfast option is very good (and quite a bit less expensive this time than three years ago). Only complaint this time was the rooms a/c-heating and fan didn't work and there was a persistent musty odour, we were told it was a broken part and wouldn't be fixed during our stay. We had our last breakfast paid for but an offer to change rooms would have been better. Even with that would recommend it and stay there again.

Rooms were very well appointed. Toiletries were lovely and the room was well-supplied with tea, coffee and biscuits. The location was good too. A short walk from Central station, shops and restaurants.

Our only complaint is that the towels were changed every day when one set would have sufficed for a three night stay.

Second time in hotel, staff very friendly always have a smile, breakfast is delicious. Hotel very clean great sleep in a comfy bed, central within walking distances to shops, taxi ride to Hydro
