Aderi Hotel Niantic

It wasn't a bad start here at all.. very convenient from where we came from.. it is just very outdated & needs some upgrades but other than that it was okay.

This hotel was a disaster!! The outside was highly unkempt! There was a very odd and unique smell in the lobby and the front desk lady appeared o check us in at 4pm in her pajamas. The pool in the pictures is closed and in need of major repairs. There is no continental breakfast as stated in description and I think the people who work there also like there. I wouldn’t be surprised if they rent these rooms by the hour as the entire second floor smelled like weed and not sure what else. The cleanliness of our room was questionable, and I felt like we were walking down the hall in the shining… Our bathroom toilet had a weird brown sludge layer on the top of it, I don’t think it had been checked or cleaned in quite a while. When I asked about breakfast the girl at the front said it was the Mystic property… but I couldn’t find any mystic properties and I’m from the area, only to have flown back for a wedding and this was the only hotel in the area with rooms, otherwise I would have been better off staying in my car. I asked for a refund for our second night and even that seemed a little challenging for her to process- Don’t stay here- run away.

No smoking room smelled like it had been smoked in. No breakfast.

It was advertised there was a pool and there was not. Also there wasn’t a complimentary breakfast and the hair dryer did not work

We just neede a place to sleep for the night. It served our purpose

Just ok to stay here.
