Houston Marriott Sugar Land

This was a lovely hotel to stay in for my work conference I was in town for. Shelton made our check-in so seamless and was extremely friendly and helpful! My only complaint is the frigid temperatures in the conference room but other than that, I would highly recommend staying here!

The location is the best part of this hotel. It is surrounded by restaurants, shopping mall and a movie theater all within walking distance of.

Stayed for work and had a wonderful experience. Hotel is beautiful and Shelton at the front desk was incredibly helpful - went above and beyond and set my work trip up for success!

From valet to the front desk, everybody was very helpful. I stayed in 420. The room was beautiful. I slept very well. The bed was so comfortable. The generous offer that they left there forme was very appreciative. Now leaving the valet I did tip my valet, but then I got a text message saying that it was over the amount of what I was told the night before. I did call the hotel and they said they were gonna troubleshoot. It never had this happen before, but I am confident that they willtake care of that since I am a little member to the Marriott. I have nothing else to say, but everything was excellent even though there was a glitch on the payment for valet like I said I know they will take care of it so I’m confident that their service first is very highly on their list. I do plan to come back again since I do travel for work as a Traveling nurse but again I wanted to thank everybody from the very beginning to the end from the evening until the morning. Atendimento da chegada... Fiz uma reserva englobando um dia antes da chegada para garantir check antes das 15h e para minha surpresa, quando cheguei no hotel as 12h me avisaram que o quarto não estava disponível e teria dado now show no dia anterior. Achei um absurdo e tive que esperar até as 15h para ingressar no quarto e mesmo assim já tinha cobrado a diária do dia anterior.

Just giving everyone a warning here above my review as it turns out from reading other reviews that this has happened to a lot of other people. Please read all reviews before booking this hotel and my advice is DO NOT book it! You have been warned and trust me, I stay in about 30-40 hotels per year for work and have never been scammed like this. You will think (like i think) that it'll never happen to you, until it does! Very bad experiance from start to finish (where it managed to get worse). The wi-fi didn't work the whole time - I was told later that this was a known issue and it can't be fixed that quickly - why weren't we told on check in then? My colleague in another room found a dirty towell. On check out, I was charged a fee for the smoke sensor going off (apparently whilst I was asleep), to which i've now called the General manager about 8 times, sent multiple emails over 4 days and haven't heard back. This sort of thing has never happened to me and my card has been charged almost $600. The front desk told me that it's a third party that charge it and they cannot remove it even though it might be faulty (apparently all charges can never be removed from the bill, which i've never heard before). But anyway, i'm unable to get hold of anyone or the GM, the front desk lady (Vanessa) was very rude to me too - she took a total guilty until proven innocent approach!. This hotel is way below par, it's impossible to work from if you need the wi-fi to work and just beware of the dirty room situation too because if the towells are dirty, what else hasn't been cleaned!!
