Sandos Finisterra All Inclusive

Great location great food staff is very friendly.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Crashing waves at the beach were breathtaking. Front desk/Check In - Lackluster with the exception of Alfredo, who was amazing! Both on arrival and departure..... What a fantastic ambassador for the property. Room - spacious, marina view was beautiful and beds comfy (finisterra suite) Food - Other reviewers have commented that it's better than avg for AI. IMO not true. Mediocre at best. That said, the staff at all of the restaurants were fantastic! Drinks - Ishmail at VIP pool was the BEST. He was the highlight of our stay. All other bars had drinks that were inconsistent and not very tasty or particularly potent. Of note, VIP upgrade does not apply to liquor selection. Primary focus for the resort - Caters to Royal Elite Vacation Club Members. There were many loyal patrons that had been coming to the resort for years. Enjoyed visiting with them. LOVED the mascot kitty - Shadow. If you go, be sure to be kind to this tiny sweetheart. Maintenance - We were there during the hurricane and are in the property management industry so there was considerable sympathy for the challenges being faced. That said, 3 nites with no ac and consistently being told it was fixed and being lied to was not ok. Overall - Good first experience in Cabo and no regrets with choosing Sandos. Knowing there are much better and far worse options, the service and entertainment staff made it worthwhile to stay here. Decent value, but probably wont be opting for an AI property next time. Too many excellent drinking and dining options in town and the marina areas.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Stay – 5/5! We had such a wonderful stay at this resort from start to finish. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always attentive. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax. The resort itself is beautiful, with three fantastic pools to enjoy. We spent most of our time at the activities pool, where Yuki and David from the entertainment team kept everyone engaged and made it so enjoyable. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of delicious options each morning, and our waiter Enrique greeted us daily with a smile and such a positive energy — it really set the tone for the day. Alfredo, our bellman, was also excellent: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. We also had dinner at the Agave restaurant, where Javier took great care of us. He was personable, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home. In the evenings, the entertainment was excellent — the Michael Jackson show was especially fun and a highlight of our trip. We stayed in two rooms during our visit: one with a marina view and another with an ocean view. Both were very well-kept, but the ocean view was absolutely stunning — I’ll definitely be booking that again next time! A special mention goes to the general manager, Nikki, who we met in the Finisterra Plaza. She was so kind and genuinely interested in how our stay was going, which left a lasting impression. My wife and I also enjoyed a spa experience, and Karina went above and beyond to provide excellent service and a deeply relaxing treatment. The views from every part of the resort were incredible — from the beach, the marina, or the Whale Bar, you could not ask for a better backdrop. And the coffee shop was another highlight, with plenty of great options to choose from. Overall, this resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to downtown and the marina. We loved every moment of our stay and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area!
