Sandos Finisterra All Inclusive

Overall great place to stay.

The staff at the resort really made this place shine. Yuki, Davide, Enrique, Ruth, Carmen, and the whole bar and service staff - thank you for making a great birthday trip!

We stayed in a one bedroom ocean view suite and had a wonderful time at Sandos Finnestera. The food options were all very good. Tortuga for dinner had great food and service, BUT they really need some fans to get airflow. It was sooo hot in that restaurant. Italian was great, Don Diego (mexican) was good, and steakhouse had a nice NY strip and amazing mashed potatoes. The breakfast buffet offered a ton of options daily and the omelette maker was top notch. The pizza and sushi stand was fantastic and special recognition for RUTH. She made everything so good. Jerry / Arturo / Angel were very nice and worked the pool bar like pros. The bar offers a ton of options. The daily entertainment was fun and consisted of aerobics, volleyball, trivia, tequila tasting. Yuki / david / Enrique / carmine did a great job. The pools are all heated. Whale watchers is a great spot for pre dinner drinks and overlooks the water. We found no one went up there but we loved it. The staff was 5 stars. Truly. And i’ve been coming to mexico for over 15 years. I would absolutely come back.

Staff were all very nice and professional.

We loved everything about this resort. Friendly and efficient staff. Fun poolside activities (oil painting, piñata making, tequila tasting, etc). Everything we ate was delicious!

This was my mom’s and my second time at Sandos Finisterra, and my boyfriend’s first. Even during the slow season, the resort had a great atmosphere and we met so many friendly people. The staff really made the difference. Angel at the pool bar was fantastic. He was always on top of our drinks, super friendly, and made us feel taken care of without us having to ask. He made the poolside experience so much better. We also want to give a big thank you to Nicolas at the lobby. He was always ready to answer our questions, helped us get taxis when heading into town, and we often saw him running around in the humid heat to assist guests. His dedication stood out. Georgina from Diego’s was another highlight. She greeted us with a smile every morning and made sure we had everything we needed. Her kindness and attention made breakfast a daily favorite. The only small downside was the sushi and pizza area. The man working there didn’t seem happy to be there and made us feel like a bother when ordering. It didn’t ruin anything...we just avoided that area. Overall, we had a great time and are so grateful to the staff who made our stay special. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Ocean View room, level 4 was perfectly in the middle of the 7th floor walkway to the marina view/breakfast buffet & the pools/ocean. Staff were all super friendly. Activities by the pool were fun & engaging— I took the painting class & guacamole class. Overall, I look forward to returning to this resort soon!

Overall a good experience. Staff was super friendly

The place is beginning to show its age. Only one elevator worked and it was the main one going to restaurants. A 10 minute was not uncommon. Staff members are great as they always have been.

The room was amazing. Drinks at VIP bar were better than poolside. I will be returning someday.
