"Two weeks Dec 6-20 room 1236"

10.0

Have stayed ay many resorts in Cabo, I have to say Sandos is the best value for the price we have encountered. Room, clean average size, comfortable bed and bedding, hot water always available and Air cond worked fine , maid service was excellent, room service food was decent and fast. Food, breakfasts were excellent, home made omelet's and a good selection of fruit, cheese etc excellent service! It was nice not to be asked to sign for anything ever. All of the A La Carte options were good, better than a lot of the high end resorts in Cabo, lots of lunch options at the pool, nice that reservations were not required! Pools , two main pools, one large family pool, large size great for swimming laps, kept clean and perfect temp, nice to have a large adult pool option as well, more than enough chairs everywhere and no towel games. Excellent entertainment staff, Enrique, Yuki and Carme were amazing. Pool side service was probably the best we have ever seen! Norma and Gabrielle made sure were were always looked after, Staff throughout the resort were no doubt the best we have experienced anywhere though-out the resort. We could not complain about a single thing and will definitely be back. If i would make one suggestion to management the Gym is small and has limited equipment although well maintained and always opened on time, I would suggest replacing and upgrading the free weights as they are older than me, possible add another bench as it doesn't take many people o make it crowded.

"A Little Piece of Paradise"

10.0

This was our 2nd stay at Sandos. We stayed November 30th to Dec.11th. Once again we had a wonderful holiday. The staff held by Nikki, hotel manager are fabulous. Each and every staff person is super friendly and sincerely want to make your holiday here a special one. A huge shout out to Alberto, one of the Food and Beverage managers for always giving my husband and myself extra special attention. When my husband was not feeling well one night while we were dining at Agave, he sought us out on our last night to see how he was and to say good- bye to us…….truly a very special man. We look forward to another visit next year. Again, if you want, excellent service, friendly caring staff and tasty food, look no further. Shelley and Dave From Canada

"Decent all-inclusive"

6.0

We stayed at the Sandos Finisterra during the Thanksgiving week. Overall, we had a nice day in the location of this resort as well as the all-inclusive nature make it a good option for Los Cabos. Couple of things I thought worth noting. Rooms: we booked the highest level suite that has a separate living room and is in the part of the resort facing the marina. While the room is nice, it seems slightly dated in its interior design. There is a large tub in the middle of the bathroom that is open to the bedroom. Well, our view was supposed to look at the marina. It was just a big tree that obscured our view and the porch was too small to sit on. We asked to switch rooms to the nicer. Moore recently, renovated rooms overlooking the resort near the breakfast place that had an Ocean view. While these rooms were smaller, they were nicer and again more updated. Food: the breakfast was probably the best meal of the day and they have anything you could imagine, including an omelette station. As far as the other restaurants, we ate at the steak house and it was just okay, meat was not cooked well and was very ropy with lots of tendons. The italian place was also just okay, they ran out of pasta so everyone got fettuccine and the sauce was bland, almost store bought. Food at the pools was good, sushi and pizza, as well as Mexican stuff. Drinks were plentiful and well made. Cupcake acfe was a good place to get espresso drinks and snack. Pools: There are three pools, one for kids, one for adults and one for both aka activity pool. There was always music at the adult and activity pool that was too loud and annoying. They also had games that they played throughout the day which seemed to interfered with just relaxing at the pool and reading. We went to the kiddie pool to escape the noise. They also have cabanas but either they are reserved by families with the "black VIP wrist band" or you can use one with the purchase of a bottle of tequila or champagne. As you can imagine they sat empty most days. Beach: Beach is nice, good to get away from crowds and noise. Can't swim in then ocean so thats a downer. Was able to use the one cabana at beach. Beach drink and food service is great. But beach seems desolate and kinda unused. Location: Place is situated right next to the marina so going into town or going on an excursion was easy. We had brunch at the Marina one morning and took a boat rider to the arches.

"10/10 would recommend!"

10.0

I booked through Breezy Brides for a destination wedding and it was amazing. Everything was taken care of, all the way up to scheduling transportation to and from the airport and hotel. Very easy to work with and you can tell that everyone wants you to have the best possible time. Rooms were good size and well-maintained. On top of that, the food is amazing and there are almost nightly events to keep you entertained during your stay. I would recommend Breezy Brides and Sandos Finisterra to anyone looking to travel to Los Cabos!!! Thank you 🩷

"We love Sandos but Gloria is a problem"

8.0

My family and I have been loyal guests of Sandos Finisterra for nearly a decade now. We visit often because of the warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness the team consistently shows. Many of the staff members there have come to feel like family to us. However during our most recent visit we observed something that felt very out of character for the resort we know and love. While at Agave by the pool, we witnessed Gloria (the manager who oversees the entertainment staff) speak sharply to one of the servers in front of guests. This particular server has always provided exceptional service to us over the years — he is consistently warm, professional, attentive, and represents the resort beautifully. It was uncomfortable to see him spoken to so harshly, especially publicly. Throughout the day, Gloria appeared noticeably frustrated, which created a tone that clashed with the otherwise positive, relaxed, and uplifting atmosphere the staff works so hard to create. It stood out because, for us, Sandos Finisterra has always been defined by its kindness, hospitality, and the respectful way staff treat not only guests, but the way they treat one another. I sensed disrespect from Gloria to many of the staff around her. Another staff member informed us that it's not unusual for Gloria to smile to guests but treat the other staff as less-than and rudely. I’m sharing this because we care about the resort and the people who make it special, and sending an email to customer service didn't go anywhere. I guess I'm protective over the pool staff who serve me so well! The culture there is truly the reason we return year after year, and we would hate to see that atmosphere change because of one bad apple. This seems inconsistent with the values Sandos is known for. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

"A Hit and a Miss and Everything In Between"

8.0

We had a marina view room and we were looking forward to that. Please note that if you choose this then you end up on the service road of the resort if you are on the first level which we were. To access our “casita” you had to walk A LOT and there are A LOT of stairs involved to go anywhere. The roadway was cobblestone so not helpful for luggage and a small elevator for part of our journey was lucky to hold 3 people. Our room had no proper balcony for enjoyment and no where to hang your wet clothes from the pool to dry. Food was okay but none was exceptional as it was all inconsistent. The sushi at the pool is very nice, but don’t bother with the pizza. Hopefully you will be updated on which restaurants are closed on what days as we never were. Our bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Nice sandy beaches. We are used to activity staff being more engaging but they never left the pee pool area (our term of endearment for the swim up bar). Good location for walking the marina area, but keep in mind it’s busy on cruise ship port days and prices go up for souvenirs and excursions. One last thought…pack light because not a single individual ever bothered to dress up for evening meals. Dress code here is non-existent. If you go to the Whale Watchers bar at 4pm for an espresso martini stop at Cupcake and bring the bartender espresso as he gets none there until 5:30 if any at all.

"Sandos, we already miss you!"

8.0

It was a great trip! 1. Layout: it’s hard to tell from pictures but this resort is really easy to navigate. We were the last room in the marina view and it still wasn’t far from anything. It had a Mediterranean feel. From the lobby, you either take a short walk to the pool, go up to your ocean view/junior suite room or go up to the 7th floor which leads to a beautiful walkway to restaurants, cafe, and marina view rooms. The views are amazing. 2. Food: amazing food! There are 4 restaurants (Italian, Mexican, steakhouse, international). There are no lunch or dinner buffets. It’s all à la carte. There’s a pizza and sushi hut by the pool and you can always order fast foods (wings, fingers, tacos, quesadillas etc) by the pool. This might be harder to navigate with young picky kids. 3. Pools: there are 3 pools (activity, adults/swim up bar, and heated pool). They are clean. They are a bit dated and could use restoration of pool and patio tiles. It didn’t look as pretty as it could. 4. Beach: it’s so stunning. Take a walk to the left side mountains. They are so grand. We saw turtles hatch and plenty of whales during our stay. The beach is the cleanest I’ve ever seen. No bar on the beach and no swimming. 5. Staff: SOOO friendly. Always felt 100% safe. Extra special shoutouts to Yuki and Enriqué in entertainment and Norma and Joel from the pool. They made the trip so much better. Overall I would return! The staff is absolutely incredible. Don’t miss the white party on Wednesday - Buffet on the beach with plenty of entertainment such as flame throwers, acrobats, dancers etc Tips for improvement: - change shower heads. They suck. - refurbish pool tiles and patio tiles

The location and staff make this an excellent choice for your Cabo Stay . Excellent staff who are very helpful and happy . Here are a few employees who always make our stay a wonderful vacation . Doormen/Nico, Alfredo and Alvero. Anna Silva always accommodating at check in-check out! Butlers who are always ready to assist Cristina and Edgar. The best bartenders Ishmael, Panchito, Luis and Salsa (Plaza Bar). The upgraded food and charcuterie board is a great addition. Alberto Manager at Agave has the best smile and is always smiling and fulfilling any special item you want to eat . Kudos to Nicky the Hotel Manager and her team .
