Salamanca Terraces

Perfect location in walking distance to Salamanca Market and the Hobart wharf. Gated parking. Plenty of room for the two of us and felt homely.

Salamanca Terraces is in a very good location. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which suited us as a couple. The kitchen had the basics. The apartment was clean and tidy. The King bed was comfortable. The apartment was warm during the cold nights.

Unfortunately on the first day and our last day our apartment wasn’t serviced. The 2 bedroom is a good size for a couple but would be very cramped for 4 people. The rubbish collection at 4 am daily was a disruption though I understand not much could be done about this. Our apartment was dated and needed some minor renovation.

Close to everything On-site parking a bonus

Location was excellent, no need to use car! 50 metre walk to Salamanca Place Unit was spacious and well equipped. Reception and cleaning staff excellent. Godd price for a self contained unit so close to where we wanted to go.

The car parks are very narrow for today's car sizes even for smaller SUVs. Was a big effort to get out of the driver's seat and I was parked in the middle of the space. This creates a great risk for damage to cars, though everyone was very careful. Our apartment was very dark inside, as on the car park level and at the back ( southern side)., even on a bright sunny day. But the internal lighting was good and bright enough for reading and craft.
