Courtyard by Marriott Amarillo West/Medical Center

Rooms were clean and staff was pleasant. However, the pool was closed, and parking is VERY limited, and with a fee.

Would have thought the property would have breakfast, other than that, the stay for a work trip, was fine.

What a joke…nothing worked! Pool and hot tub were out of order, computers did not work, coffee didn’t work, phones didn’t work, fireplace in the lobby didn’t work…and of course we counted on the pool and hot tub. We always book a hotel with both for our kids to have free entertainment. What a disappointment. Take pride in your hotel and fix things when they are broken!

Don’t be fooled by the pictures. This hotel or at least our room was less than ideal. The panel around the AC appeared to be hit with a sledge hammer then run over. The door was broken at some point and rigged (it did safely lock), but you had to kick it or use a shoulder to open and close. Bathroom walls were pealing off, shampoo dispenser broke, shower dripped, fridge didn’t work, ice machine on first floor was broke, floor drains in pool room were clogged and flooding the room, no towels in pool and all the front desk had was gym small workout towels. You have to pay for parking which is a trashy and super dark (I’d say sketchy parking lot). We ended up moving next door to Holiday Inn and much much better experience. Service from front desk was excellent. Super nice lady!

The front desk girl was egregiously offensive. She had her girlfriend there hitting on her and she was totally unhelpful and rude.
